*ugh* is it REALLY monday????
hmmm...i guess it is....but i can definitely say that this weekend has been a blast! let's recap, shall we?
FRIDAY: laundry night.....mmmmm...i don't care what you foolios say, laundry night is fun on a friday night. i mean, you're guaranteed a washer and dryer while everyone is out partying. seriously. the one thing i most despise about apartment living is the "laundry civil war" that always seems to erupt on sundays or even random days during the week. people will even goes as far as taking your [still] wet clothes out of the dryer and put theirs in! GHETTO! it's a savage laundry world out here on Scott street.....but on friday nights, it's all gravy train.....
SATURDAY: work @ kate spade in the a.m......same old, same old......after work, i eagerly ventured over to ECP and ant's BBQ shindig....much more mellow that the wild cinco de mayo affair, but it was still fun.....it seemed as if everyone was engrossed in some sort of thing....for the boys in the living room, it was the evil FOOSBALL table....for myslef, it was ant's G4, where i spent a good portion of the night downloading songs....good times....good times....
it was my pledge sister's bday and bon voyage party the same night, so i had to make a trip over to Club NV.....note that i had never been there before.....considering that it was a Synergy party, t wasn't all that bad...the music was actually fun to dance to. but why is it when you dance with your girly friends, guys get all predator-like and start dancing around you like some tribal ritual? creepy.
SUNDAY: fun day! the day started off early with a breakfast date w/ my girly homies @ Home plate.....yummy....then i met up w/ t-L and Nast for a funn filled day of hiking.....in half moon bay. dude...we rocked! we hiked a whopping 7.5 miles, complete with a whole lotta gargantuan coyyote dung and us walking against all the other hikers.....our hefty reward? rite aid icecream, play time @ BEST BUY and jack in the crack.....
the late afternoon called for a rendezvous with the rest of the softball homies @ Malibu castle, where we all met for some good ol' BP.....i have to say that it looks like the commish, JEFE, is the most "bonds-like" of the bunch...no worries, even his mad batting skillz can't carry his whole "black/gray" team [oooohhhh] this softball game is gonna be so much fun! thanks t-L, nast, jefe, and ECP for working so hard on those jerseys!!!!!
okay, so now it is monday a.m and i am sore and tired....and not wanting to work....bleh.....oh well, that's what mondays are for, right?
