Hello 3rd floor bloggers!
This is the moment you've all been waiting for...MY DEBUT BLOG!!! Honestly, I tried to blog last Thursday, but the blogger site was down. Regan and Anup are my witnesses, right guys? Anyways, I wanted to thank everyone for the birthday blogs. I felt so special!!! It's so nice to be remembered on your birthday.
Also I'd like to thank everyone who came out to party with me on Saturday nite at Royale...I hope you all had a good time. I definitely did! I know I must've since I woke up the next morning still a bit drunk. :o) Sylv - that raspberry kamikaze shot was the best shot I've ever had!!!! Anup - that tokyo iced tea was the worst drink I've ever had!!! But hey, I have to admit that it got me pretty messed up and so I had a better time because of it. Guess I can't complain!! =) Oh, and special thanks to Val and Regan for coming out on their anniversary nite.
Okay, I might as well address the whole Hustler Club thing, since I'm sure everyone will be asking me about it after reading Phil's blog. First off, let me say that it was not worth the $20 each that we paid. Or rather, that Ant paid. (Thanks sweetie!) We all thought that it was going to be a more upscale place with possibly classier girls. Well, the interior was not impressive and the girls were definitely not impressive. No, I didn't get a lap dance or anything remotely close to one. And neither did anyone else. I swear! Although Ant and Alan saw a girl they went to high school with getting a lap dance by TWO dancers! So anyways, we didn't stay very long.
Well, this concludes my debut blog. I know it was short compared to what you all normally write, but now that I know how simple it is, I plan on blogging again. Thanks again everyone! Hope to see most of you at Sylv's 80's bash on Thursday. Oh, and early birthday shout-outs to Tiff and Sylv! Happy Birthday!!!!!

*Phil returns from an eventful weekend with no sleep*
Hey all,
Great party Steph... Cafe Royale was great.... I got to see everyone again and got to drink and get drunk and watch Liz scream at some guy for spilling all over her... After which we parted while Steph, Ant, Ella Mae, and Lil' Alan went to Larry Flyn't Hustler CLub, How was that anyway Steph... Speaking of Steph, she mentioned that she actually read the blog and saw our POSTS!!! It's weird, it's like we have blogger voyeurs... just weird...
Sylvia, why in the world did you start talking about grocery stores??? I personally like Safeway better, it seems to have more things on sale that I like vs albertson's... though the only reason I go to albertson's is easier 1) to get starbucks 2) to get coupons for the dry cleaner that I go to...
Anyway yeah I like the safeway on Castro, vs nice pleasant, it's even a place to go "crusing"... also I will go to your party on thursday;however you better get my e-mail right next time you send out an evite
Nick, thanks again for coming with me to the baseball game... you're always a pleasure to sit next to at a game.. GET OVER IT... I said it once, and I won't say anymore.... sheesh a meesh ....
Christine, Thanks again for coming with me on saturday's game (nick went on sunday w/ me) I always seem to go with you to clinching games... what a sign.. we're magic... thanks again for the br stuff... do you know when br and gap take their markdowns??? what else are your plans for the week?

Hola mi amigos!
Today was my first day of school. Let's recap shall we...
*Too many god damn people everywhere. That's what I kept mumbling to myself as I weaved through the gazillions of people on campus. I always assume everyone around me is a freshman and just wait for someone to do something retarded. Then I snicker and think to myself, "dumb freshman."
*I'm gonna start a petition demanding that the university implement a rule which makes it mandatory for all freshman or new transfer students to take some sort of bike-riding training course, similar to driver's training (not that I would know what driver's training is like or anything) because these damn kids are outta control. Number of times I almost got ran over by a dumb freshman: 2. Number of oh-so-close bike accidents: 3. This madness needs to end.
*Today was my first day of Espanol Dos. My professor is ridiculously skinny and gorgeous. The girls sneered (being the catty bitches we are) and the boys smirked as they looked her up and down. This should be interesting. There was only one hot guy in the class who yes, looked like none other than Landon Donovan (don't they all these days. No but seriously, he really was a walking replica of him). But turns out he was in the wrong class and should have been in room 27, not 127. Must have been a dumb freshman.
*Am I sounding like an old hag or what?
*Today I had one of those great hair days where you feel like you're walking around in a Suave shampoo commercial. I love days like this. Note to Phil - I could still kill you for telling me my hair looks like hay. My only dignified, intellectual response to such a comment is..."Yo mama."
*Note to Jeff: You calling me a slut? What are you trying to say, I'm fat? The next MLS game I go to, I'll be sure to wear some AE daisy dukes, a low cut white top, and a turquoise and tan belly-chain type belt. Then I'll definitely live up to the title you've now bestowed upon me.
*Revs won 2-nil over the Fire today. Go Revs!

some where in that foggy city....
i have a new favorite place. it's a place where everyone DOESN'T know your name, but they have everything you woud ever want. and lots of it. it's always open. it's clean. it's new. AND.....it has parking!
it's SAFEWAY @ castro!
i'm hooked. i've been there 2 days in a row. i can't help it. everyone is very nice. not ghetto superstar or superficial like the webster st. and marina safeways.
i must be exhausted, guys. i'm talking about a GROCERY store for crying out loud.
HI EVERYONE!!!!
sounds like all has been well here in blogland. i have not been a faithful blogger, but i have been a dutiful reader of the 3FC blog.
nice job REEGS on the pics.....you're turning into a regular old HTML joe. LA LA land was fun....too bad you missed my performance prior to your arrival at 4800.....it's all gravy though...melrose was fun too, but too bad those darn sales girls are too aggressive. good times///good times.
STEFFIE: duder, you know i called you to say happy bday on your actual bday, since i rarely associate you on this thing. but yes, happy happy birthday. you're the best....even if you have a peanut bladder. no go and run that mile. i mean walk. i mean JOG.
PHILLY: i miss you!!! la was fun, but i wish i could have gone to ariel's festivities.....how's work going? what about them giants, huh? WE'RE GOING TO NYC!!!!
JEFE: hiya aggie. hey, i saw a halfie girl the other day and immediately thought of you. she was cute, too. hopefully, you can make it next thursday. i miss your live concert performances!
TAFT: awww...i wish you could make it to 1984. you of all people would rock the hardest to those tunes. it would be so much fun!!! alas, school is a priority. but if i find out that you're @ cantina...bad boa girl!
NAST: i think we should organize a battle of the bay world series tailgate party for the 3FC. mandatory attire: pink flamingo capes and inflatable sword and shield. what do you think?
ECP: have fun next week in the east. hey, what's up w/ you and always going to the east? far east...east coast.....are abnormally tall people always attracted to the east? are they like birds?
FREE ANUP! FREE ANUP!
MISS CHRISTINE: you better get in high impact shopping mode by 10/18! glad to hear that the city of sin was a blast...let's hang out!
LAMSTER; study study study! good job, you have so much discipline! can i take yu out for a champagne study break? or maybe nick and i can bring the study break to you -- in the form of a champagne bottle or a nice 7 mile hike! good luck hon!
did i forget anyone? ah well, i'm tired. adn ER is on right now and everyone has smallpox. freaky. and YES, RWLV is raunchier than ever....IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME! and SURVIVOR: THAILAND: that dorky skater has to go. he's a loser. so is miss-i-can't-figure-out-a-stupid-puzzle. sheesh. some people!
my fave radio station (right now): 98.1...it's has all the old school KMEL dj's...renel, micheal erickson, etc. they play motown and soul....fun! 2nd runner up: 104.9: good alternative but can sometimes add to my road rage.
good night...sleep tight!

One last birthday shout out to Stephanie....and all I can say is this: DA DA DA DADADA TERADA! Sorry Nick Tejada, I had to borrow your line...it was only fitting! Or I can say this: HIP HIP (HAPA) RAY! Since we all know that Steph is mixed and it allows me to use that line once again...it's like the third time I used that line...kinda sad:( Anyways, I hope you had a splenderiffic b-day! By the way you're just plain FRESH since your b-day is in September! Anyone whose b-day is in September is just plain FRESH, so that must include me! I hope you got great presents, but your presence on the blog would be even better and fully welcomed!
So Tomo and I went to the Giants game on Tues. nite....I got free tix so I had to go but I realized even more that my heart is with the youthful A's. I can't believe JT Snow hit a triple....let alone hit a ball out of the infield! Twice! His other hit was a single. We began sitting way above home plate which was a great seat but way too high, so we ended the game in the bleachers then out in right field above the scoreboard where i must say we were cool enough to get on the big screen above barry's homer count after barry launched one.
ED - I guess I might be a lucky charm (btw: when do I NOT possess charm? The ladies can't answer that!) The Giants record for this year when I attended Giants games: 3-0. If I didn't attend these games then they'd be tied with the Draft Dodgers, so you (and whoever else proclaims to be a giants fan) owe me one! Hey I have a poster of landon donovan and jeff agoos that we got from a game...you want it...i definitely don't!
Freak Mike Cameron (of the Mariners). He strikes out like 9 out of 10 times and when he doesn't he hits a homer to keep it honest. So what does he do tonight? He hits a freakin homer off Mecir (of the A's) to win the game! He's prolly the most overrated player in baseball....overrated in the sense that he's rated at all!
TAFT - How you gonna claim the Revolution as your new team and go against "your" Quakes? I didn't know you were like that....jump from one team to another...your like an MLS s**t (read: PLAYA)! If one team can't satisfy you, you go and find another! Just Kidding. Just Kidding! Ouch...i felt that! You just kicked that ball into my nuts. I think you busted-a-nut! Sorry!
PHIL - CONGRATS on passing your exam! You moving on up! Well, all I have to say is "Lite rock, less talk" in response to your question. Yup, you got it...KOIT 96.5 is my fave radio station. I literally BLAST that station more than the hip hop ones. Nothing beats singing along with Shania Twain and having ppl staring at you like what the "f". BTW: Kinda sad the BB3 ended tonight....Lisa def. deserved to win it, but i was amazed at the vote! Them houseguests did sure hold a grudge against Danielle. My new show: The Bachelor.
REEG - kinda funny you asked that question. Me and Tomo were hanging out and talking about old SI folks. He mentioned there's a bar (but forgot the name) in sf that SI ppl frequent...we should all hit it up. Then it lead me to think of SHARON LUK. Didn't know her that well , but i had the priveilege (and what a privilege it was) of having my locker right next to her...she was cool!
NICK - you have that song in your head because? Admit it....you sculpt at home and play that song just to reenact that seen from "Ghost". We should sculpt a gold glove so we can shoot that commercial cuz i have the jerseys ready. Better idea: we shoot that commercail and say "I can't field cuz I can't read braille!"
T-LAM - all i have to say is this: 1 week to go! I can't wait and I think I speak for most of the others! What you say can come back to bite yah. You know how it is. No short short to look forward to, but it might be a good thing!
That's my post...see you guys in 3 weeks

nick's notes....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPH!! maybe now that it's your b-day (and a all new coming of age type thing) u'll share and post something on here....i'd love to read a blog from u
ed - in exhibit A-2.04, u missed out on an important clause that mentions that this is actually my 3rd game this year at pac bell, but that i didn't actually buy any of the tickets of the games i've attended....and that i'm getting my tickets from someone else giving them away, just like your tickets, and just like another one of my friends attending the game today, and just like jefe's tickets for yesterday's game. so what's up w/everyone gettin' rid of their giants tickets - especially during the stretch run....no one ever gave up their A's tickets
ed - i have a couple of janet posters that since i've moved back into home w/my parents i haven't felt quite comfortable enough to put up, so i'd be happy to donate those
phil - much congrats on passing your exam, since u spent so many days in advance studying for it
magic # for the A's....they're already in - and i'm hoping for a bay bridge world series (b/c that would mean that the A's are world champions), and to any of u many giants fans in here - any of u interested in making a litl' wager to see who's team goes further in the playoffs?
favorite radio station - 610 am, that's the A's radio station, where one can listen to the voice of the A's bill king do play by play. plus they play a nice selection of oldies when the A's aren't on
reeg - i think that maybe u should put up a pic of lana lang (kristin kreuk) everytime u post
song which is currently stuck in my head - unchained melody, by the righteous brothers (from the movie ghost)
current dilemma i'm facing - do i trade shaun alexander from my fantasy team??

Request:....anyone with posters or artwork that they no longer have any need for may donate them to the Ant, Alex, and Ed Weightroom Fund for needy children. we're trying to spruce up our gym so any posters or art pieces will be a welcome addition to our currently posterless and artless walls. thanks.
speaking of birthdays.......isn't it convenient that tiff decides to have her birthday when i'm away on business. coincidence...i think not. i once again rest my case.
oh but don't worry....jefe has promised retribution for his birthday experience last week. i heard Payback sucks. you know the movie with mel gibson....yeah i heard payback really really sucks. like throwing up on the street corner kinda sucks. like running around in baseball tights and nutter shorts sucks. like 2 drinks and i'm wasted sucks. like almost being arrested by an off-duty security guard sucks.
well happy birthday tiff. oh and happy birthday to everyone else who decided to have their b-day in Oct., which is just about everyone reading this.

Whats crackin' crackheads,
Well I wanted to make a south city trinity post even though we're all displaced now...we all know tiff loves it at davis, no need 2 front...she's secretly having a contest w/ dan to see who can stay in davis the longest...phil's true ghettoness came out when he bought (not rented) a pad in the 'town...like the aau team, he's an oakland soldier...but we all had our roots in the south sucka free...and this is where home will always be...
for those of you who didn't know, the reegsta and his barbarians went to the city of sin this past wknd...and i tell you there is no city aptly nicknamed as this one =) hehehehehe (evil giggle - what J???)...it was pretty tight watching the RWLV premier and then goin to the same place just after...and I echo yick's statements a few blogs ago about the silicone, but i'm not one to argue ;-) ...lunch at caesar's was cool...we ate so much at like 3pm we didn't even get hungry for dinner...and u can't beat champagne brunches...bubbly is for classy drunks ya heard? as for other details of the trip...please visit the underground blog...we gotta keep this piece pg13ish...lets see if yall can figure that one out...
as for the television shows...i caught a minute of survivor...funny how that tommy lee wannabe brought a skateboard...yeah i concur, RWLV looks 2 be interesting...i mean, when are the broads go nude in the first show, how can it not be viewing pleasure? OMG, roughly 20 hrs til the season premier of SMALLVILLE (i know i spell premier wrong, but its in honor of my favorite DJ)...please do yourself a favor and peep this show...9pm on the WB
speaking of which...KRISTIN KREUK and TIGER WOODS share the same birthday...for those of you who don't know, that would be December 30...and it sucks liking a girl who has the exact name as your sister, even the spelling....so i simply refer to her as lana lang...or LL...like sixpence none the richer, there she goes:
Flashback of the week: seeing marc summers of double dare fame hosting that show on the food network
CD purchase of the week: there are some illmatic-level songs on this joint...peep it
Song of the week: Weezer - The Good Life click here to peep it…speaking of which, I’m making me white boy cd volume II…please help me with songs! I’ll make a custom hip-hop for you in exxxhange…
Shoes of the week: Air Jordan IX Retro White/Blue Pearl….just copped these a few hours ago...ain’t they some hot ones?
Freak of the week: ******* ******** there goes that censorship thing again...
Phil I like Power 106 simply for big boy’s neighborhood…it’s the funniest ish, and an good way to start my day…
Here’s my question of the week: Who’s your favorite non-third floor member of the class of 97? Pick a boy and girl...sorry about these Jesuit posts but yall make me nostalgic…mine would be caitlin crawford and ramon rosales….keeping it real w/ the OG last name…
i'm tired, so my bed calls me...
one love,

ps...its funner utilizing the 'nets capabilities =)

The Industrial City
I don’t want to go back to Davis. This past week back home was nice and relaxing. Not to mention full of comedy, thanks to Jeff, Nick, Tiff, Ed, et al. There’s never a dull moment when you have any combination of those people around.
Did you know….that chicken makes great bait for crabs?? I had no idea of this until I went fishing and crabbing with my family this weekend out in Pacifica. We went out to the pier on Saturday night and then again on Sunday, catching a whopping total of 25 crabs! Too bad we found out later that you’re not supposed to really be catching and keeping so many and if we got caught, it would have been a $540 fine. Per crab!! That’s….well I don’t feel like computing the total in my head, but that sure is a hell of a lot of money for some stinkin crabs.
Digital cable is fantastic. I recently discovered three great channels: 1) MTV Jams, which plays hip hop and r&b videos all day long. No VJ’s, no lame MTV shows. Just videos. 2) VHI Soul, which is basically the same as the MTV Jams channel and 3) Fox Sports World. Soccer from all around the world, all day long. Fantastic. The best old school video I caught last night: New Edition’s “Cool it Now.”
It’s official: My new favorite MLS team is now the New England Revolution. Go Revs! And I don't know if anyone recalls back during the World Cup how I kept saying the U.S.'s blue jerseys were bad luck, but I just came across an article by a writer at CNNSI.com who wrote: "Can we retire the U.S.'s blue jerseys now? It was a bad idea from the start to switch from red, the color worn by the Yanks' diehard fans, and the World Cup sealed it. U.S. record in white jerseys: 2-0-1. In blue jerseys: 0-2." Glad to know I wasn't the only one who caught on to the curse of the blue jersey. Sorry, just had to toss that in.
Phil: I did catch Real World: Las Vegas and it looks to be a good season this time around. Chicago sucked ass, but this one looks full of good drama. Re: QOTW: I don't have a favorite radio station, I listen to them all.
September and October sure are jam-packed with birthdays. Next up: Steph on the 25th. Then after that is Tiff Lam on the Oct 2nd (which I know many people are anxiously awaiting for). Then Sylv on the 3rd, Dan on the 17th, and Phil on the 18th! Man oh man, get those livers primed and ready folks. Be sure to give everyone a heads up if any of you are planning a little sumthin sumthin.
Peace out,
~Taft

*Phil sits at his big desk at lunch*
YAY I came up a little in Reno. For all of you who didn't know, I came up $40... I was actually down $60 but I was able to kick-ass at Circus Circus Roulette table to come up $120.... I was doing so well over there ppl were waiting for me to put down my chips and everyone followed it...It was funny..... speaking of which... for those gamblers out there.. we should all go up to reno for a day or two.. who's up for gambling????
Anyone watch the Emmy last night???? I was a lil disappointed that Six Feet Under didn't get as many emmy (if not really any major ones) and the west wing swept it all....I think six feet under should have one at least a couple of those awards.... How bout that Friends as best comedy..... took long enough... swear they got nominated 4 times and finally one it.... anyone see that bernie Mac Outfit.. that was hideous.. that's a for-sure worst dressed outfit....
Anyone watch Survivor:Thailand... I swear its battle of baywatch v beverly hillbillies.... what was that grandma thinking picking all the old people.... speaking of reality tv... I'm sad to see that Big Brother 3 is finally ending on Thursday.... For those of you who don't watch it you should watch Thursday.. Bay area favorite Danielle is going up against socal hottie Lisa the bartender.. who will win... tune in Thursday... also did anyone catch real world: Las vegas? is it any good??
Ok, I forgot to answer regan's question... I wear my watch on the right b/c I am left handed ... and plus I wear a bracelet usually on my left.. so both wrists are usually covered...
QUESTION OF THE WEEK: What's your favorite radio station and why????
I'll answer mine later on this week.. Until then. adieu.

SHOT FOR SHOT...THE MORNING AFTER
by: Jefe (IN MY SILK ROPE AND A CIGAR IN MY MOUTH)
First off, I would like to thank all of you for the b-day wishes....much appreciated!
Anup - much appreciation for the phone call from the NYC for the bday greeting....thanks!
It was nice to wake up to all these blogs...the morning after my bday....maybe i should've read them on my bday! Anyways, continuing with the randomness that flutters my mind, I've come up with a serenade for the blogs...here it goes:
"When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do, is take a look at you....wouldn't you agree, baby you and me, gotta groovy kinda love"
So if ever you guys need a picker upper....the blogs will always be there.
Dude, there is absolutely no structure to this blog!
So, if you all din't know, it was my bday ystrday. Hip hip Hapa Ray! Nothing beats kickball, dinner, and drinks for a bday! And great presents!
We won kickball 10-4...i suck!
We ate dinner....it was yummy in my big fat tummy!
I got presents....they were awesome!
I drank....then I threw up!
Taft and nick played video games....i napped!
That was my bday in a quickie! An old fogie like me settles for quickies!
Thanks to everyone who planned the little dinner....small and intimate....Chan ho Park is a good restaurant...that's where we ate right? I forgots its name. Hey wait a second! The reastaurant was named after a baseball player! Did I not catch that yesterday? The ginger cake was fantabulous!
Presents....nothing will ever beat the presents i got! Tight (as in the fit and actually in the slang form as well) baseball pants from E-Peezy and white short (as in the style) shorts from T-Leezy, Nick-Neezy, Reeg-Teezy. They wrote "WAIT til you see the front" on the back of dem shorts! So, I had to give an impromptu fashion show on the sidewalk....it was great! T-Leezy has the pix-eezy!
Then came the bar with no name....Had a lot to drink! 7 drinks is quite a lot for me! But i must say i'm a strategic hurler...Not only did i now bow down to the porcelain gods...I threw up in the streets. Good cuz street cleaning was scheduled for 2day....as someone had told me!
Now, now everyone should stop giving T-Beezy a hard time for not have a license. She drove me home with my car and she a hecka damn good driver. She my new chaffeur! Grated Nick-neezy was leading us home and it took us a good 40 minutes to take the scenic route back to my house from Irving...i live like only 15 minutes away from irving! What up with dat?
FIFA soccer sure produes good laughs...and according to Reeg-Teezy "soccer sounds lie sucker"
Damn...i can't write anymore....
I liked Dukes of hazzard, today's special, punky, press your luck, calssic concentration, etc.
I like to drink 151....that is 1.51 oz of h2o
I LOVE my hs friends....College was my territory to spit mad game....why am i single? I'm a cheap date.
When i wear my watch i wear it one my left writst!
i GOT A PHAT HEADACHE....LATERS

Happy Birthday Mr JEFE!!!! I hope that you read these so you know that we didn't forget your 24th birthday (you are 24 right??) thanx again for the tix on sunday.. I owe ya one!
Anyway, I see that everyone has read my post and has answer my question... did I answer it??? I don't know if I did, but my favorite show of all time is.... THE PRICE IS RIGHT, AMAZING RACE, FACTS OF LIFE.... favorite drink at a bar: Raspberry Stole with 7-up or White Russian....
My exam is tomorrow... I'm actually very nervous b/c I need to score and 80% on this test... (apparently last test only 50% passed) so I'm a little freaked out b/c if I mess up I have to wait a whole 3 months.. how lamo is that
Regan, you have a good point about the a's... that koch always tries to make it an intersting ball game.. if he's the closer he need to close out the game.. not prolong it.... and of course the giants are going to make the playoffs b/c they OWN the dodgers... and if they win tonight... dodgers will be feeling dodger blue...
TIff L - you know those high heels probably won't hurt as much if you wear them often.. apparently you got no skills to walk in 'em. heheheh. j/k actually I hear you need real good balance and practice to walk in hells esp those 2 inch ones... anyway let me know how your interview went??? maybe then you can come over more frequently
Tiff B- I know baseball is boring to you but that's probably cuz you're just used to fast pace... liking baseball is like uh... liking art.. either you like it or you don't.... it's not an acquired taste. I hope you like being down here in SSF.. if it wasn't for my exam I would have been down more often.
Sylv- So you went down to LA huh? what you do there details details...
Ed - So when are you going to have all come over to play foosball. (is that how you spell it)... how's work goin??? what time do u normally get out?
Christine - I'm so jealous you went to vegas.. and yeah I want to go back in November (if anyone else wants to go) we can make it a group thing.... hopefully I'll have money by then to even go... any suggestions on dates????
to regan's question of the week: I liked High School as far as the closeness of everyone and the fact that you see everyone all the time.. however I liked college for the freedom and the independence away from my parents... I would definitely though choose hs friends over college friends any day...
Ok gotta go study now... wish me luck

Jeff's Birthday, 2002
4:40 PM
South City
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFF! May your life be long and your liver be strong. Hey that sounds pretty good. I should work for Hallmark. Bottoms up, old man!
Question
Ummm...where exactly must Anup be freed from?
Re: Boys and Boobs
I don't think I'll ever understand the male fascination over boobs. My tip to you fellas is to just get fat. That way you'll have yourself some man boobs of your own which you can play with all the live long day. Then maybe you'll stop oogling over girls with big nanas and ignoring those of us who aren't so blessed.
Soccer notes:
Not that most of you care, well with the exception of Ed and perhaps Nick and Jeff (but definitely not Regan since he's apparently more interested in spending his dough on lap dances), but this weekend's a huge one for MLS, as the outcomes of all five games will determine who's heading into the postseason. Sadly, going to the Saturday Quakes game fell through (I think Nick and Jeff wised up to Regan's suggestion. Dammit Reeg, why you gotta spoil my soccer fun), so I'll be praying to the soccer gods for an Earthquakes win from home. The New England Revolution are quickly becoming my new favorite team and Taylor Twellman has done the impossible and replaced Landon Donovan as the hottest and most talented man in major league soccer.
To answer Regan's questions
1) college, because it gave me a swift kick in the ass (but agree with tiff on the real friends made during high school bit. Most of my Davis pals think it's a trip that I've managed to still be so close to my high school friends. But that's just the kind of wonderful people you all are. Ok, end of mushy moment). 2) watch goes on the left wrist, because I'm right handed.
Deep Thought of the Day, as provided by Jack Handey
To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody asks, "Hey, can you give me a hand?" You can say, "Sorry, got these sacks."
With that, I bid you all adieu.

lets see, it has been an eventful week for me so far. had a day off yesterday so i could trek all the way to oaktown for an interview. the weather was perfect for lounging but too bad i had to be in a skirt and heels. ladies and gents, heels make everything ache. my legs felt very arthritic...and i only wore the heels for 3 hours...i don't know how any girl can wear crazy heels for 8-10 hours a day...OUCH! yeah i'd like to be taller but i also like to walk without limping...so PEACE OUT on that crap.
philly hotsteak: fav show of all time = FRIENDS; fav cartoon of all time = G(J)EM (is that how you spell it?); fav drink at a bar = shirley temple w/o the alcohol. if i don't talk to you before because you'll be busy studying...good luck on your exam!
reeg: thanks for last nite...even better that you didn't charge me *wink *wink. i guess i'd have to say college because i didn't have to deal with parents and stuff. but the real friends i have made were during high school...I LOVE U GUYS AND GALS!!! funny you should ask about watches. i was gonna wear one for my interview but i looked at it and i was stressing because i thought i was late...yeah, the batteries ran out...STOOPID moment of the day. i rock it on my left wrist.
taft: you're right, baseball does suck. *YAWN..just thinking about it makes me sleepy. be glad that nick and ed don't call you up to give you updates on giants and a's game. what i waste of my minutes!
chris: reeg's a liar, they don't care if they real, fake, filled with jelly (which i think some guys would prefer), or whatever. guys just are infatuated with big boobies. why? because they're SICKOS. anyways, good to hear that you had blast in vegas. consider yourself luck since you didn't get whacked by any fake boobage. we should all plan a trip there. is there a time of year when vegas has a boob shortage? cuz that's when i wanna go!
ed: thanks for having lunch with me...i think the people at the interview liked the kim chee spell on me =) yeah, I WIN! the recipe for romance...what a joke

Hey guys...
Glad to see multiple activity today...wow 2 posts by our Chinese Berkeley fraternity friends =)...and Tiff B living up to the "Daily Dose" title of our blog haha j/p...2 bad i'm too southern for the MNFAT, WAKA and XBOX events, but I live it vicariously through yall, so keep bringing the 411/summaries...well I haven't posted in a minute, but nothing really spectacular has been happening...
I'd like to big up SAB for visiting me this past weekend in the city of angels...although I might not have been the primary reason of her trip, its always good to see familiar faces and old friends...we went to this bar on sunset blvd on saturday night, got our perve on, and then I drove them back....sober of course...on sunday, frustrated with the way the 9ers were playing, I decided to accompany sylvia on a shopping trip to melrose...I didn't buy anything, since they don't have a ross on melrose, but sylvia came up on a lid...
a lil word of advice: when buying alcohol beverages at trader joe's, do not use your passport as proof of identification...
after reading ed's china piece, don't u think he'd be smart enough to duck once in awhile...and u know how there's a chinatown in every metro area in the US, is there a USAtown in china? but china sounds a lot like the PI, which I think is very characteristic of many developing (re: 3rd world) nations...and I'd like to know the reason why you're pondering a career change...
speaking of which, our loyal bloggers may recall that my proposed profession of being a (game show) player...it was brought to my attention that contestants may only appear on one show per 12 months, so I guess I have to think of something else...
hardball thoughts: i hate koch, i miss the eck...everytime i see koch pitch, he seems to jack it up somehow...maybe mulder should've stayed in the game; as for the giants, i believe they'll make it since the dodger's play like vaginas...w/ their allstar closer on the mound and no one on, they intentionally walk BB24...at least we were vindicated 2night...
Jeff/Nick: can't believe u got suckered to watch a MLS game...for a dollar more you could get a lap dance...
Christine...we care if they're real, fake boobies look kinda nasty sometimes according to what, um, like, my friends tell me, yeah...but I think i'm headed to the desert this weekend too...friends bday wknd as well, so hopefully I'll have a recap next week...
4 P-diddy...Scores is also the name of a popular strip club in NYC according to what, um, like, my friends tell me, yeah...but let me answer your questions:
favorite TV show: SMALLVILLE!!! season premier on the 24th...as for why, no doubt lana lang is hotter than eating flaming hot cheyenne peppers in death valley on a July day (thanks tiff L), but also because I see parallels with me and superman...love, expectations, friendships, superpowers...well maybe not that last one...maybe that sounds egotistical, but if you watch the show, you can feel me, or should i say doyouphilme? haha....but Clark will prevail, and so will the reegsta...
favorite drink: to buy for girls, Adios because they get effed up quicker!! no j/p ;-) to buy for guys, a beer on tap b/c its cheapest haha...and I think i've answered this ? b4, I said a long island and a cape cod...i guess i have a thing for islandy drank...as for the nonalcohol, I simply prefer h 2 the izzo (or as sylv puts it, "HOVA")...

from espn.com:
How strange is this? The losing pitcher for the Mets on Sept. 11 -- Steve Trachsel -- lowered his record to (no kidding) 9-11. The Yankees' winning pitcher the night before -- Jeff Weaver -- raised his record to 9-11. And as loyal reader Jerry Beech, of e-sportsnation.com, points out, in the only game played in New York on Sept. 11, the Yankees and Orioles combined for nine runs in 11 innings.
thats not just bananas, thats the whole banana tree...or whereever bananas come from...
flattering moment of the week: my coworker, who i haven't seen in a week, told me she had a dream where i was her boyfriend...too bad on the temperature scale she's kinda cold...in celsuis...but a very sweet girl nonetheless...
reality check of the week: haha my dear friend sent me a link to see how attractive you are...and I scored a 72 =(..which is equilavent to a C-, but she got a 69...so obviously its not very accurate...
blog observation: when is 2 people commenting considered a party?
tiff B: i'm anxiously awaiting results from that poll you administered...please post! hehe...and regarding that jeff line, it makes me wonder why they have braille drive up ATMS (?!?!!?)...almost as silly as a P-diddy riddle...
Phil had a good idea with his question of the day thingy...short and simple...so here's mine: Which did u like more, college or high school? Why? And if you wear a watch, what wrist do u rock it on? 2 totally different questions, but i'd like to kow the answers...
Well I promised Tiff L that I'd post 2nite..but I fell asleep and frantically awoke to post...so this one is dedicated to you girl...

Well I promised Tiff L that I'd post 2nite..but I fell asleep and frantically awoke to post...so this one is dedicated to you girl...

i've decided on a new profession. i'm going into business for myself as an independent consultant. i'll help people with their daily goings-ons, answer any questions they have, help them with their finances, walkd their dog, do their taxes, tell them what to eat for lunch, write to them by day, read to them by night and basically educate and entertain people during their otherwise meaningless and bleak lives. i think this endeavor will be quite profitable as everyone who has just read this owes me $50. so i'm like up 200 bucks already. please make checks payable to E.C. Pan Independent Consultant LLC.
hey, no one go to M.N.F.A.T. the football games suck, parking is impossible, and seating is hard to come by........also i don't want you gettin' any of my grubbin good food.

South City
Greetings Friends,
I have returned home sweet home from my pimpin little apartment in Davis (digital cable, dsl, cushy couches and...no dog. life is good) and will be here in the good old city of South San Francisco for the next week. If anyone wants to do anything this week, gimme a ring. My schedule looks....(checks imaginary palm pilot)...yep, all clear. Except Saturday night - Earthquakes game at Spartan Stadium...who wants to come!!!! It's the final game before playoffs, against the Galaxy (who just beat the Quakes this past saturday in LA on a goal that should have been disallowed, so it's time for payback), and tickets run at $19. Let me know if you're interested. So far I've brainwashed Nike Nick and Def Jef to go.
The "Dang, I Feel Old" moment of the week: I went to a cotillion on Saturday and realized that I hadn't been to one of these things since we were all 18...which was five years ago. In 1997. Yup, still feel old.
Comments on the A's game: Sucks they lost, won't turn into a baseball fan until others turn into soccer fans, and I wish I was 13 or under so I could go on the field and run around the bases.
Lessons learned from the A's game: Don't order a large coke and place it in the cupholder or it'll get stuck and possibly burst and spill onto some poor lady's bag, two people can't exit the BART station using only one ticket, and I won't turn into a baseball fan until others turn into soccer fans.
Phil: Fave tv show - (of all time): Saved by the Bell & Growing Pains; (current): Friends, Even Stevens, and Trading Spaces / reason: Zack Morris, Mike Seaver, Ross Gellar, Louis Stevens and Ty the hot carpenter. Fave alcoholic drink: lemon drop shots / reason: the sugar around the rim of the glass
Christine: welcome back to the world o blog, be sure to come back soon. We need to hang out!
Lamster: Hope you had a good time in San Diego. Next time you're there, remember this - Christmas is just around the corner and Taft loves them San Diego surfer dudes.
Def Jef: I know you must be having a hard time reading this right now because it's not in braille, so turn up your hearing aid. Quote of the century: "Hey you know why else deaf people can't spell? Because they can only read braille." Classic, Jeff.
I'll be home, bored with nothing to do all week. Please blog and entertain me. Or come hang out with me. Or both.
Until we meet again,
~Taft

whassup y'all? how is everyone? been a while since i've seen people or even posted, but i figure monday morning's a good time, especially since i'm here at work with my boss in a meeting and have an anti-work sentiment after my tongue got burned by this morning's coffee fix.
so didn't have a super exciting weekend like philio did but i really wish i was around on sunday to see nick and jefe throw their balls around. er, that doesn't sound too good does it? =P wished i could've made it out to ariels bday bash, but unfortunately i was at work until 9:30 that night... yes folks, because i work for jabba the hut's evil twin i was committed to working most of this weekend. working through any dinner hour without any food and trying to get started on a project that you know you're giong to work on all weekend but will change by monday is not very stimulating. so friday night you could say i was quite grumpy, and even more so saturday morning when i worked another full 8+ hours. went up to berkeley for dinner and was surprised by all the newbies - nice being up there again tho.
yes it's been a full month of living back at home with the parentals again after five wonderful years of apartment life parent-free. all i gots to say is that it is freaking c-c-c-old in the city! being home w/my parents has been alright so far i suppose but then again i haven't been there much... went up to seattle a few weeks ago and was in vegas this past one. vegas was a blast but cost mucho moola since it was thrown together last-minute. this was only my second time down and unfortunately i didn't get to gamble too much. lost most of my money friday night at the club on drinks and cover. my charm wasn't enough for the bouncer and so we also had to tip the guy to let us jump the massive line. i realize that to get in anywhere in vegas you either gotta be with a bachelorette party (actually the party i was at was advertised as the world's biggest bachelorette party - too bad there wwere so many sausages around), know people (sleazebuckets), or be white with really big boobs. and there is a LOT of boobage in vegas. now i don't have a problem with mine... not too shabby for an asian chick, but dayam - now i can see why guys love the desert. do you guys even care if they're real?
wanna go again in november - anyone interested?
anyhoo, that was vegas... not much else goin on - can't believe the giants lost to the padres of all teams. for those of you that watched or heard yesterday's game - can you believe that umpire? baseball needs to come up with some regulations on these jerks. for those that didn't hear, the home plate ump was so sick through all of yesterday's game taht he kneeled almost the entire time. that's a great way to be able to see the strikezone. dumb dumb dumb... but we will make it through - we're grrrrreat! on to beat l.a.
jefe - any bday plans yet? happy early birthday! are you gonna hit 2 dozen?
tiff l - keep up the updates on your kickball league - sounds like lots of fun. and yes doctors make tons and don't even have to be nice to their patients.
ed - welcome back. sounds like you had a bang-up good time (ok corny). those old school applie pies are the best and there are a couple that have em here... if you wanna venture all the way to the mickey d's up at stoneridge mall they got em
phil - fave tv show was ally mcbeal, now probly sex and the city even tho i'm about 2 or 3 seasons behind. smallville is good too - oh i'm getting basic cable at home in sf next week! oh yeah baby - nbc here i come! fave drink - purple hooter or any vodka shot
'til next time,
christine

Hey all,
Philly phil is going to recap my fun-filled weekend (or so I thought, heehh)
FRIDAY
Ariel had his big 3-0 party over at La Fiesta in San Mateo.. Much props to steph, anthony, anjali, anup, lory, and adrian for all coming out and celebrating... the music was pretty good, the bar service could have been better, but the atmosphere was nice.... I had about 3 shots and about 4 drinks in less than 2 hours... and if all of you know what that means I was fuc*ed up... yes I was buzzin.. but nothing compares to ariel.. he had about a dozen or so shots and drinks and thus he was dancing on top of speakers...freaking some of my berk friends, and just going buckwild.... yeah it was a sight to see... but alas the night ended at 2:00 a.m. and we ended up crashing at a hotel in San Mateo
SATURDAY
I don't remember much on saturday, ... maybe b/c I was sleeping and recouping from the previous night... I think I slept a total of 15 hours that day so my day was not very eventful... we did eat at Cafe Colma (a.k.a lucky chances restaurant open 24 hours/7days a week) I have to admit their tapsilog does not even come close to ong pin...
SUNDAY
Jefe, landon donovoan obsessed fan, and nickerbacker, and myself went to the a's vs mariners game.. unfortunately the atheletics loss... but we did get to see some exciting highlights which include
seeing the guy in the row in front of us win a tv
seeing a foul ball land 5 rows ahead of us
spilling coke on a lady's handbag
watching jefe get up after ever foul ball hoping to catch one...
watching nick and jefe throws balls back at each other... it was more fun watching them chase the ball when they didn't catch it
after which I met up with one of my berk friends to a place in San Mateo... It was a sports bar called scores.. it's near the ice chalet in san mateo or target greatland... it was some good food.. maybe we should go there for JEFE'S BIRTHDAY.. yup JEFE'S BIRTHDAY IS ON THURSDAY... isn't that exciting.. now if you guys plan something you cannot have it this weekend cuz I'm not going to be here... =( Ok, only kidding, just don't wanna miss out on all the fun...
ok hope that entertains some reading for ya tiff some questions I'd like people to post on here
- what is your favorite show on tv and why?
- what is your favorite alcoholic drink and why? if you don't drink alochol, wha is your favorite non-alke drink?
hope to see you all soon!

hello peeps!
how the hell is everybody doing? it seems all of us have been pretty busy. this week was pretty hectic but fun!
monday was the official start of M.N.F.A.T - monday night footbal at tiff's. the game was quite disappointing but the company was good. jefe, nick, ed, and kev came and watched a god awful kordell stuart game. hopefully, next monday's game will be more eventful.
tuesday i attended the giants v. dodgers game with ed, kev, ant, steph and other peeps. my face was very crooked after the game because the wind was blowing every which way. the game was fun to watch in between all the yapping i did. but the funnest most bestest part was when we hung around the parking garage because there were too many cars in the street. it was nice and toasty in there.
wednesday...went out with co-workers. by the way, doctors make a boat load of $$$.
thursday was WAKAWAKAWAKA day. it was freezing cold but the game didn't last very long since our team lost 2-0...how sad =( however, jefe made some very great plays - catching several foul balls. we have a great video clip of nick getting robbed of a base hit by a GIRL. i'd like to give a shout to ed and kev. ed for bringing me to the game and then leaving early. kev for staying and being a very bad camera man =) next week will definitely be a better game.
fri...off to SAN DIEGO!!!!! woohooo...fish tacos, beaches, snorkeling, and the sun...i can't wait.
tiff, crack is bad for you. you should lay off that stuff. ass crack is worst and now i will try to erase that image from my memory bank all weekend. yuck.
congratulations on your vollleyball win phil. at least someone is winning. by the way, there's nothing going out with strangers...as long as they're not shady
tiff, phil, and i can't keep this up you know. people better start posting soon or this will be one boring blogspot.
have a nice weekend y'all

9:27 PM
Davis, but surprisingly not at the computer lab.
I was sitting at a table studying for my psych final this morning when this man decided to sit at a table across from me, but with his back turned away. Tired from trying to memorize useless statistical equations, I look up and happened to glance at this man's pants - and low and behold, there it was....the crack. Aww gross, I thought to myself as I desperately tried not to look at this disgusting buttcrack before me. But it's like when you're passing by some kind of accident, you can't help but look. And I couldn't focus on anything else but this guy's enormous crack. His shirt was just high enough, the pants were riding just low enough for it to peek through. Should I tap him on the shoulder and alert him of his indecent exposure? Should I send a little hint his way, perhaps throw a plunger or some other type of plumbing tool in his direction? Would he get the hint? Or should I simply get up and leave and spare myself of this sight any longer? So I got my things together and left. Meanwhile, an unsuspecting student took my seat. She's in for a surprise.
Here's hoping your eyes don't wander towards someone's ungodly crack,

Phil posts while watching Making the Video: Justin timberlake
WELCOME BACK ED. I"m glad you have arrived safely from the communist block, a.k.a China...I'm surprised no one tried tkaing pictures with you thinking you were some famous athlete or something (or did they)
THE GIANTS ROCK.... Can I just be so excited that I've gone to three giants game in the last week... each time in a completely different section...
on thurs, I went w/ Lory and sat in the bleachers, on Saturday I went with Ariel and saw at AAA club level and Monday I went with Christine and saw at lower level.... We won 2-3 games the times I was there... and not only did I watch crucial games but I got to see Rob Nen's 200th save passing rod beck for all-time Giants save leader, the longest home run ball in pacbell history, kent's 1000 rbi, bonds 610 homer, plus I just found out that I won a giants grab bag... boy is it my day...
SORORITY LIFE Wow, it's finally over.. can you believe all that.. Jordan, I liked until the last episode, she started whining toomuch... but then again so did the other 5 girls... well maybe not dede.. well actually we wouldn't know if dede did b/c they never showed her... but anyway... at least some of them crossed... now I just wondering will they do fraternity life... hmm. that would be interesting...
ROAD RULES to me, this season is so boring I think this is getting so tired it's worse than watching "who's wants to be a millionaire" it's the same shi*t over and over again.. and the ppl start looking the same... don't ya think??
SOFTBALL now that ed is back, when shall we play again? we need to CREAM the gray team...any ideas of dates??
FRIDAY ariel's party is on friday, if you guys still want to be on the guestlist, accept on the evite so you can get in for free.. contact me if you have any questoins
VOLLEYBALL started today.. we won.. of course.. that's 11 straight regular season game victories (counting back from last season)... just felt like sharing...
Ok that's all for now...

Trying to read up on 3 1/2 weeks of blogs is like reading war and peace backwards and in russian.....it's fair to say i'm totally lost. in one or two sentences, can someone sum up what i've missed. to answer all possible forthcoming questions i'd like to provide a Reeganesque blog (in length, not style) chronicling my travels across the Orient.
i had an apple pie at the McDonalds in Shanghai and they are tast-eee. they deep fry it instead of bake it. if you ever have a doubt about what you're cooking....just fry it. it's sure to come out tasting great. ummm, think of the possibilities........ fried ___insert favorite animal____ balls, yummy.
either i'm a super star or a super freak (not Rick James super freak, but Mike's Hard Lemonade super freak with the second head growing on the guy's shoulder)......everyone in China stares without the concept of shame or politeness. pointing and staring gets a little old after awhile, especially when a billion people do it. it's like they've never seen a 6' Chinamen and his identical looking 6' brother.
i was told not to drink the water......but that still doesn't explain the dead dude i saw floating in a river in Beijing.
i don't know what's so great about the Great Wall.....if i had a billion people i'd build four of them, then add a roof. that way my country would be one big room and no one could get in.
it was pretty ass-crack-sweating-hot....i'd take a shower, walk outside, and feel like taking another shower. for you statisticians, i averaged 3.4 showers a day for 21 days.
Chinamen in China drive like Chinamen here......they're crazy. hey i think i'll make a left now. oh don't worry, those 80 cars coming our way will stop. then when i got to Hong Kong, they all drive on the wrong side of the road. what the flying-duck is going on here? didn't the British leave already? i almost got hit like ten times.
they don't have our standard 9-5, mon-fri hours. instead, everyone works all the time....... i saw two five year olds paving cement at 2 a.m.
every night they have ballroom dancing in the public parks.....i believe it's a communist thing.
i saw an entire family of four on a scooter designed for one.
they have a lot courts in China, but only once did i see people playing ball. instead they enjoy their typical communist sports of ping pong, badminton, and kick the capitalist.
Air China only allows one carry-on item.....so i had to leave seven of my other brides back on the mainland.
i hit my head on the ceiling of the airplane when i stood up.
i hit my head on the ceiling of the metro when i stood up.
i hit my head on the ceiling of the double decker bus when i stood up.
I hit my head on the ceiling of the ferry when i stood up.
i hit my head on the ceiling of my hotel room when i stood up.
i hit my head on the ceiling of the taxi when i sat down.
needless to say, i have a lot of bruises on my head.
i drove by Yao Ming's house ('cause it's right by my dad's old house) and i bet he has a lot of bruises on his head too.
i only got sick once....of course i didn't unclench my anal sphincter until last night.
i only have 11.5 hours of film, 24 rolls of film, and 2042 digital photos of China. if anyone's interested, i'll be reliving China tues thru sunday.
so, yeah, that's most of everything. i highly recommend going sometime. if there are any other questions, or a need for clarification, feel free to blog it.

*Phil waits at the montgomery bart station for a pittsburg bay point train*
Blonde1: (holding a mcdonald's burger) cheeseburger! anyone wanna cheeseburger
(several men, refuse and one even growls at her)
Blonde1: sheesh I though people like mcdonalds
Blonde2: Yeah I know
Phil (in my head): well obviously no one is going to take a cheeseburger from a complete stranger unless you're a bum or dying of starvation
(20+ guy comes down from escalator, rugged guy a little on the machismo side)
Blonde1: Cheeseburger
Guy: yeah, I wanna cheeseburger. (walks over to her) do you got any ketchup
Phil (in my head) you swear she just carries ketchup with her
Blonde1: No sorry I don't have any ketchup. I promise its good
Guy: thanks I'm starving. where you girls from
Blonde 1: I'm from the city
Blonde 2: I go to school in Berkeley
Guy: Hey, that's where I'm headed... I"m here from new york. My friend over there (the anti-social one) is who I'm staying with
Both blondes: ooooh new york huh... wow... and you came out here, how you like it?
Guy: Pretty cool so far... so you guys going out tonight?
Blonde 1: No, I got work early in the morning
Blonde 2: I want to, thurs-sun are the best days to go out.
Guy: Oh YEAH, I wanna party tonight but my friend here isn't up for it. ... You girls wanna go out.. anything happening in berkeley
Blonde 1: I can't, I really have to wake up early
Blonde 2: Oh c'mon it'll be fun, I know some places that are good out in berkeley
Guy: really I'm down if you two are
Blonde 2 (to blonde 1): c'mon you know you wanna go?
Blonde 1: Oh all right I'll go too
(and they wait together for the next bart train)
So people meet like that... after a freakin cheeseburger.. talk about not going with strangers.. apparently they feel safe.. just had to share a moment of random conversation I overheard... I shall post another one soon enough

No cable, no fun.
Thursday, September 5, 2002

Davis
Wow, just one day without cable and I feel like I've missed out on so many things (my roommate and I are still in the process of changing all our bills, including our cable service, to our brand spankin new dogless apartment). Sadly, I couldn't watch American Idol last night because the jankity tv wouldn't pick up that one channel that it was on. We got everything else BUT fox. Bloody hell. I was going to wait until I got home this weekend to watch it because thankfully, my cousin is a die-hard watcher and taped it. But of course, since I have the luck of a one-leaf clover, I ended up waking up this morning to the radio, where the dj announced the winner for me and spoiled the surprise. Bloody effin hell.
I also missed out on this little USA basketball team losing to Argentina thing. What's going on here? From what I've read on ESPN.com (yes, life without cable has forced me to read about games instead of simply flicking it on to SportsCenter. Note to self: call cable guy), it wasn't the prettiest of games. How sad. No really, that's so sad because it just confirms all that I loathe about where professional basketball continues to go. And I read that the game was played before a sparse crowd of about 5200? Where is everyone? I feel like the tides are changing here. People give the MLS (that's Major League Soccer, for those of you who still haven't caught on) so much shit because attendance figures aren't in the twenty or thirty thousands. But if 3rd grade math serves me correct, 12,000, which is the average attendance figure for MLS games, is greater than 5,200. So that put a little smirk on my face. And I realize in saying this, I've just opened the floodgates for some of the guys to start baggin on me just because I made a little critical remark against their beloved basketball. Bring it. :-)
Damn, I just realized what else I'll be missing out on tonight without my beloved cable: 1) the US Open match between Sampras and Roddick and 2) the MLS game between the MetroStars and the Burn (it's a tight race for the final playoff spots in the league. Hoping Metros lose only because I want the Revs to come through and pull off a 'worst to first' like the Quakes did last year. Not that any of you care, but I just had to get all that soccer jibberish off my chest). Does anyone know how to hook me up with some illegal cable? Anyone?
Only 7 days left before my big term paper is due, so I better get crackin. Hey maybe this cable thing is actually a good thing, cause then I could focus on my paper. On second thought....nehhh. No cable = no fun, for real.
Until next time,

see sylv and reeg, sh*t hits the fan when you ain't bloggin. so make sure you guys monitor all that goes on in the san blogindo. can't let this die because then i'll really have nothing to do at work =)
something exciting happened to me last week. i finally got musical accompaniment while i drive old janky. YES!!!! after 8 freakin months of driving without any music besides what was playing in my head, i can listen to CDs and radio. i was starting to go crazy. and now, the drive to work doesn't seem as long or as dreadful. nothing better than listening to weezer right before work.
as for WAKA, games start next week so jefe nick and i (formerly the IRT) will be praciticing on how to strategically kick big balls...i know how to do that already but i think jefe and nick need some practice. it seems like we will have a whole bunch of cheerleaders...i guess that'll do eventhough we need some serious ball kickers. can't wait to play.
well, i hope everything in blogland is honky dorie. we should kick ed's ass when he comes back for posing as dan AND Puna. that guys causes too much trouble...even if he is in China.
peace out peeps

Man, I don't post for a little while and this blog gets out of wack. But as the self-proclaimed President/Commissioner/Pimp of the 3FC, it is my responsibility to bring order like I was a waitress at a Chinese restuarant. What we have is the case of A-Rad and his keyboard V. the Aggies. Guys this is paramount...Roe V. Wade or Brown V. the Board of Education got nothing on this.
Ever hear that saying be careful what you ask for? I recall multiple posts saying that A-Rad should blog. "Where's Anup?" "Is he lost?" "We need more people." Guys, Snup is a product of us. We produced it, and he just followed the natural course. He blogged, and people were cheering him on. Therefore, another blog was soon to follow. His latest entry was proof that someone did read the X-Commandments (X=10 for the non-Romans). Thanks dawg for making em seem like I didn't waste my time composing that.
But on the real, that wasn't Anup posting...that was his evil alter ego Puna. And Puna is a bitter man. You see, Puna just celebrated his 32nd birthday Guys, if you think it was his 23rd, he got you fooled. I mean, who drives a minivan when you're supposedly "17"? And old men are bitter and delusional. And bitter and delusional old men go through mid-life crises. Therefore the older Anup wanted to remain young, so in came the Civic (I spelled that backwards haha). Their vision is also impaired...so when Anup says he saw 2 girls, Puna translates that into 4.5. Truth is, half the girls he talks about are actually distant cousins. As a result, numbers can get a little sketchy. Another reason why is was Puna who blogged: what real playas post on a saturday night? Because the real Snup must have been big-pimpin' when the cat's away.
Guys, I don't like to state the obvious, but let's paint a picture. Back in 1974 in his homeland, little Anup wanted to come across the sea and settle in the Bay Area. He scouted schools' Indian clubs, and circled UC-Davis at the PLACE TO BE. Indian girls there are off the chain, he thought to himself. I'ma get me a good Catholic education, then hop on over there. However, after spending an extra nine years in school, Anup felt it was time to make his move. He even befriended future Aggies in case something drastic happened. So he applied to Davis, but much to his dismay, they rejected him. The personal statement of pimping every Indian girl didn't go over too well with the Board of Regents. Shocked, Anup decided to stay home and find every opportunity to bag on Davis and its people.
This is the true Behind the Music: Anup. Sorry to make it known playa, but the truth had to come out eventually. Snup said his latest would "leave a mark." But would you be the mark that left?? It's interesting when you can flip some words around. Let's not forget the maturity level here...what 32 yr olds actually quote the Rock?? And back to that WWE experience yall had: maybe someone didn't wanna step on someone else's toes. And I thought you was saving her for me? And EVERYONE, with the exception of Phil-Diddy, has never introduced the reegsta to a dime. So I guess we have homework to do fellas.
To rectify this situation, Snup proposed the following idea: A Blog retreat! There couldn't be a more fitting place than Dan's place in Davis. I mean, we got like 4 years to plan it since that's about how long he'll be up there...alright my people, time to be like a Gweneth Paltrow and Ben Affleck movie and Bounce...
one love,
the commish is the ish

Happy Tuesday everyone!
How was everybody's long weekend? Eventful I hope. I know nick was estatic this weekend since the A's are tearing it up in the American league...see nick, i'm NOT a hater.
as for me...it was a quiet weekend filled with shopping and lounging around in the heat. phil informed you all about our shopping adventures in gilroy on saturday. on sunday, i went to a la carte, a la park. ate some damn good food and got a tan but my sister got her hand burned by some hot crawfish bisque. yup, her hand is blistering...i smell a lawsuit coming...j/k. she got a free dinner out of it. she didn't even want to go but i made her. feel a little guilty.
for my day off from work, my mom, sis and i cleaned our garage. i know i know...you're all jealous. at least our garage isn't as cluttered as before. i even got to rearrange our big room downstairs to prepare for the MNF events. so come next monday, expect some nice additions to the room.
so where's everybody? i know sylv's in east asia somewhere getting her scuba license and ed's gone but how about the rest of you? are you cheating on us? been blogging on another journal? damn, i'm paranoid...like reeg.
12: days until the first WAKA game...can't wait...did anyone find kickball cages for me?
9: hours of sleep last nite...yes, cleaning makes me very very tired
3: rental movies...only watched 1 - Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius. he's sooooo cute! i also wented gosford park (for the 2nd time) and amelie...if any of you wanna watch either one of those, give me a call
2: pairs of shoes from outlet shopping...my quota for the year
2.5: hours left of work
enough of me

as for me...it was a quiet weekend filled with shopping and lounging around in the heat. phil informed you all about our shopping adventures in gilroy on saturday. on sunday, i went to a la carte, a la park. ate some damn good food and got a tan but my sister got her hand burned by some hot crawfish bisque. yup, her hand is blistering...i smell a lawsuit coming...j/k. she got a free dinner out of it. she didn't even want to go but i made her. feel a little guilty.
for my day off from work, my mom, sis and i cleaned our garage. i know i know...you're all jealous. at least our garage isn't as cluttered as before. i even got to rearrange our big room downstairs to prepare for the MNF events. so come next monday, expect some nice additions to the room.
so where's everybody? i know sylv's in east asia somewhere getting her scuba license and ed's gone but how about the rest of you? are you cheating on us? been blogging on another journal? damn, i'm paranoid...like reeg.

Yes everyone I am here at work on Labor Day weekend on Sunday. Why you ask? B/c I got f*cked over by this department.. After a month and a half of "easiness" Yeah can believe my job was easy at one point, they laid it all on me... gave me new programs that were already messed up so now I have to clean it all up... oh well... on a happier note... Ariel, lamster, and myself accompanied my sister to her friend's daughter's 1-year birthday. It was at the husband house in San Jose, and he was Korean, so you guessed it BULGOGI AND KIMCHEE was the main course.. woohoo.. if Dan actually read this, he might be excited... so scrumptious.. After about an hour of eating, playing with their jack-russell looka like dog, and watching tiff play with a little girl who she never met before, we decide to go OUTLET SHOPPING in Gilroy.
So you would think that Ariel and I would have spend the most money (esp Ariel cuz we all know how bougie he can get) but to our amazement lamster and my sister spent WAY more than us.. I think me and Ariel combined was still less than what tiff bought.... Yup I'll let lamster tell you what she bought.. I bought myself a pair of pants from the j-crew outlet and Ariel bought a storage holder from bass... my sister went buckwild and bought the following:
coach burgundy bag
a wallet for clubbing (the coach salesperson even demonstrated to her how she (my sister) could lasso it around at a club and it doesn't come off your hand (she literally demonstrated it for us)
some guess clothes
a j-crew sweater
I swear she bought some more stuff but I'm blnking out...
Anyway, after which we all drove back to the peninsula to eat at Vietnam Village over in San Bruno (right over by where Christine works) Yes it was yummy, they give you great portions.. we all had our own rice plates (tiff had pho) and had 1 fresh spring rolls appetizer and 1 fried spring roll and you know what the total came to... a whopping... $40 bucks.. woohoo that's just like that one show $40/day... but for all of us total.. talk about bang for your buck...
after eating there, my sister dropped us off so she can go on her gallivanting w/ her sorority sisters while Ariel, tiff and, I headed to target... but to our disappointment, the daly city target changed their hours by closing it at 10 (instead of 11pm)... =( sad.. no target for us.. Ariel decided to drive back home and me and tiff decided to go to home depot..
there we spent quite a time trying to maneuver the cart around all the aisles (you'd think the aisles were big enough but they weren't) while we were at the cash-out line.. some guy tried to creep on us by standing right next to me with his shopping cart... now picture that there is tons of room behind me so he can stand there in line... but no he doesn't go there instead he moves everytime I move... I swear I was shopping next to mr. bean.. or something.. it was just odd.... after that me and tiff decided to meet up with jefe and nick who went to the a's game and we decided to hang out some more... so we ended up at JEFE"s house...
there we watched some sportscenter, some not-so-funny SNL, and something else but I can't remember ( I think that's when I dozed off for 5 min) and then we called it a nighter..
Just wanted to update everyone on my labor day weekend excursions.. tomorrow: Stanford mall....
