Hey all,

MY TEAM WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!... After losing in the finals the last two seasons..we finished strong.... Our semifinal game was against the men's division... luckily... we were able to capitalize on their sloppy play and their inability to return some serves... we won in straight sets narrowly escaping a second set lost (15-13) to move on to the finals which was played at 7pm... and who would have guessed that we would be playing the lowest seed of the playoffs (the team that finished 1-9 and is also my manager's team).... we thought it would be an easy game.. but it was the toughest match of the season.. after losing the 1st set 15-10... we played the 2nd set strong and took that set.... our 3rd game we came out like fire stringing 5 straight points.. taking a 5-0 lead... the other team took a timeout which was very smart of them b/c they came back with 4 point of their own.... they went ahead and took a 13-10 lead.... somehow luck was on our side, we dived, blocked, did whatever we could and came back to win 13-15.... WOOHOO my first time as captain and my team wins!!!!... must be all about me!
