Davis
Countdown: 9 days until my team's season-opener game against UOP.
Stress level: Low to moderate.
Had an anatomy midterm today and I am happy to report that no nose bleeding occurred during the course of the day. Pheeuww. As for the test, I made some stupid little mistakes (damn you supraspinatous and rhomboid muscles). But overall, I think it went well.
Too many reality shows, too little time...
I get home late every night so I always end up missing all these reality shows. Of what I did catch....Joe Millionaire got his freak on in the bushes with one of his golddiggin ho's and thankfully got rid of creepy MoJo and her self-portrait puzzle. RW/RR Battle of the Sexes: what a biased challenge that was. Of course the fellas were gonna win that one, seeing as how guys generally have bigger lungs and thus can hold their breath underwater longer than girls. But did you know that holding your breath underwater is all a mental thing and you physically can hold your breath a lot longer than you think. Fun facts you learn as an exercise science major. Missed most of American Idol but I do like the Hercules Hercules guy (especially because he sang that Brian McKnight song really really well). But I do miss that corny Brian Dunkleman guy, mostly because I thought his last name was fun.
Jeff, forget the nursing man. I'll fly you out to the next auditions for American Idol 3 just so you can share your "Boyk Me" and "Ante Up" singles with Simon. Keep those classics coming man.
Wondering...where's ECP been?
Phil, keep those reality show updates going. And I still don't get this ion lifesaver thing. It seems pointless because it's given after the fact, after someone has gotten the boot. Huh?
Time for bed.

This song captures my 2 favorite thangs: basketball and girls
(note: this should be sung like the hook of tupac's thug mansion and freak me baby by silk)
Five foot five is how tall I stand...Break you down on the man on man...In the lane is where I want to live...If I don't shoot, I want to give...The rock to my homeboy Antawn J...Throwing up crap, getting fouled, 3 point play...With the big boys I wanna be...When they in my face, I give them the three...My play on the court makes all the fans shout...Warriors b-ball is a great time out
Boyk me baby, ah yeah...Boyk me baby, ah yeah
Let me dribble up and down...Til the defense says stop...Let me run all the plays my coach wants me to do...Cuz tonight baby, I'm gonna get boykin with you
Gil and J-Rich are my backcourt mates...My babyface gets me all the dates...Like with this one girl named Tiffany...Caught my eye cuz she spit game at me...She said to me "I like your caramel complexion"...I said thanks, you so hot, you give me - directions...To your house, so we can get to know each other better...Get comfy, get warm, take off that sweater...With the horizontal stripes that enlarge your zest...At the end of the night, she was screaming "Earl...you're the best!"
I wanna boyk you up and down...Til you say stop...Let me boyk your body baby...Til you feel hot...Let us boyk the whole night through...Cuz, you know baby, I want to be boykin with you
When we finished, she was on top...My teammates saw her, all their jaws dropped...Everything I told them they wouldn't believe me...So, I hooked her up with my homeboy Dunleavy... Mike, you see, he's a rookie and gets no play...His eyes lit up for he knew it was his lucky day...In the end, he landed some action...Damn, that girl is pure satisfaction...like snickers...like snickers...like snickers.
Boyk me, baby...I'm out!
Jefe, the master of the pun, big ass...big buns, arms so big I get arrested for dem guns, that nauseate the girls and give them the runs, in their stocking we can have a lot of fun, if i was the bachelor I'd eliminate all but one, and keep that fly honey shannyn sossaman..man..man!

~not sure about everyone else but yesterday was a waste of a day. i really wasn't rooting for either teams but i expected a competitive game...once again, i was sorely disappointed. the commercials weren't even that great this year...but my favorite has to be the first one...budweiser with the jackass, i mean zebra. also i expected the performances do be a lot better than they were...shania's diamond bra sent lazers directly into my eye so her performance sucked, no doubt sang "i'm just a girl" WTF!?!?!? - thought they should've picked a more appropriate song, whatevs - NO DOUBT STILL ROCKS; sting is a has been brit pop singer, enough said. the only good thing that happend during the game was the food.
~for those of you who weren't fortunate enough to attend the warriors game on thursday, you missed out on the entertaining game, humungous big dogs, and hilarious jeffisms. after watchin the game, i am now a warrior fan - only if they continue to win. and earl boykins is the most entertainin to watch. the best line of the game: "boyk me, baby, ah yeah" so yeah, jefe is all over earl boykins jock-strap. j/k jefe!
~btw, jefe's rap is even better when its live. ante up! ante up!
~phil, thanks for the reality show updates but you forgot the one that i was interested in...road rules / real world. what happened?
until next time

Anyway I decide to write a little bit about the reality TV that I've seen this week...
American Idol - Now what a great way to make ordinary people look so stupid on national TV... Having it two days in a row made it even more interesting... I definitely can't wait to see what happenes to the um 100+ people that are coming to Hollywood... for those of you who didn't see the show... basically it was the auditions they hosted all over the country (new york, la, austin, atlanta) to name a few... and of course they had to show the best of the best and the worst of the worst...I think the best ones were when the judges gave insults to the audtioner and the auditioner said thank you (thinking it was a compliment) and the judges are like "it's not a compliment..." I remember when Simon said "that was remarkable" and the guy replied thank you and he said "no that's not a compliment, that was remarkably dreadful".... Anyway ... until next week ( I believe it's on next Tuesday.... Also one thing I noticed was that Paula has finally stopped being such a goodie goodie and being "too nice" to the competitiors... I think the producers have told her to be meaner (or maybe she just realized that some ppl really don't have talent when it comes to singing).. who knows..By the way anyone noticed that one filipino guy that was from innerlude who made it to hollywood (james from san jose was his name)...
Bachelorette - Now this I didn't get to see very much first and foremost b/c American Idol was on at the same time.. However the parts I did get to see was that Trista had 3 of her gf's (which included Shannon from the first bachelor) come and help her decide which guys she wants.... Now basically each guy (which was now down to 8) were interviewed by the girls from questions like are you the giver or reciever? Anyway... the girls picked the guy they thought was the ultimate match.. and they chose... Russ (mr san rafael) a.k.a mr "let me give you a tiffany box the first episode,"... so they go on this date together and they spend a nice dinner as well as go in a plane (or was it a helicopter) and spend the day together... now they also picked two more dates for her to go on... one was with Charlie and the other was with Ryan( the josh-harnett look-alike)... Anyway I miss the rest except for the elimination... she has 4 roses to give and 4 men to eliminate.. she picks in order, Charlie (who seems to be the front-runner, remember she told him the second episode not to worry b/c she's giving him a rose, Russ, Ryan, and Greg (the latino-indian) guy... she had also mentioned that there were 5 guys she wanted and was torn between the last spot... unforutnately mr. bob was her 5th choice and right after he kissed her good-bye she tells him ... "if I had 5 roses, you would be my 5th choice)... I guess if that's any consolation he should sorta feel good about it... however I think she's retarded for even telling him... but anyway.. now it's down to 4.. and she will cut one next Wednesday at 9pm
Celeberity Mole - Now this game is getting interesting...There were 5 left , Frederique (a model), Erik (the guy from the princess diaries and dinotopia), corbin bernsen (from L.a Law), Kathy Griffin (from Suddently Susen) and Michael Boaltman from Spin City... basically they had to do some type of building a boat so that they could all sail out and get some money (30,000) that was floating on a buoy... anyway.Erik was offered an exemption if he could get to the money before the rest of the team (b/c he actually was previously chosen to sit out of this game)...and the team would not earn ANY money anyway long story short he beat them to it.. and was given an exemtpion but then reneged on it when he was offered to take away his exemption to add double the money, the team missed out to the pot.so suspicions arose when Erik decided not to take a n exemption which anyone would clearly have taken it over any amount of money offered... (esp since these are celeberities and not ordinatry folk).. the Suspicions also arose when Corbin who is a builder could not even build the raft properly (and he was the leader of the pack)... anyway the other activity was having them have to eat hot peppers... Anyway each of them had to answer a ? and whoever could not answer had to eat a pepper.. if they answered correctly they would have the option of having someone else eat the pepper for them... Anyway everyone basiclaly had to eat the pepper except Kathy and Frederique who gave both of their peppers to Corbin who seems to enjoy eating it... Anyway the team was offered more money if they would all eat one pepper from the basket.. fredereique staunchly refused raising suspicions to whether or not she could be the mole... anyway the execution happens... and basically Corbin is next one voted out... My suspicions: a girl: more specifically Fredereique.. she is too quiet.. and she can't speak english well which would make it even a better cover for her to be the mole.....anyway tune it after the bachelorette to watch it..
Ok my hands hurt from typing.. must say though that I'm happy to see that John and Matt got chosen to be the winner of tough enough III.. now I missed watching the actual episode and I had to go online to find it.. Anyway.. just had to share....
Last minute thoughts - Super Bowl is tomorrow.. I"m more excited for the commericials than the game... I'm not sure who I want to win b/c either way my neighborhood will probably be rioting..j ust for different reasons depending on the outcome.... bacarrat .. I want to play that game... can't wait till I go to vegas in feb... Um.. I think that's about it.. i"ll post again... soon!

Watching: Training Day on HBO (two thumbs up)
Feeling: Physically tired, mentally stressed
Actually looking forward to: Super Bowl (insert meaningless roman numerals here)
Days until my club lacrosse team's season opener: 16 days, 10 hours, and 22 minutes....
Now feeling: Super stressed
Wow of the day: Andy Roddick's Aussie Open match (lasting a whopping 4h 59m)
Duke's unbeaten streak ended. So now they decided to start a new streak. Too bad it's a losing streak. ---->Speaking of streaks, or streaking to be exact, I'm starting to get tired of the new Nike commercial. Like Jeff mentioned, funny only after the first time. ---->Still funny, even after the second or third time is Jeff's newest single, "Ante up." Watch out for his making the video on MTV. Be afraid.
I'm behind in my reality tv shows. Coolguy25, I need an update, pronto (except for RW/RR Battle of the Sexes, of course. Poor Colin got hurt. And can somebody explain how this mysterious ion lifesaver works? Fun fact: Jonny Moseley, the host of the show, went to UCD for a couple of years).
16 days, 10 hours, 2 minutes and counting...

composed by tom hedden
featuring the voice of john facenda
The Autumn Wind is a pirate
Blustering in from sea
With a rollicking song he sweeps along
swaggering boisterously
His face is weather beaten
He wears a hooded sash
With his silver hat about his head
And a bristly black moustache
He growls as he storms the country
A villain big and bold
And the trees all shake and quiver and quake
As he robs them of their gold
The Autumn wind is a RAIDER
Pillaging just for fun
He'll knock you 'round and upside down
And laugh when he's conquered and won.
T minus 4 days until Super Sunday XXXVII (the super bowl; it took roman numerals, and turned them into - roman numerals)....
this is the year of the RAIDER, in which they rob the bucs of their top draft picks and millions of dollars - all before conquering them in the super bowl. the juices are already flowing as i am hardly able to wait for the final battle to begin. in what many are calling the chucky bowl, there's many intriguing sub plots; talk about your reality tv - the popular coach of a successful team is fired (dungy), to later be replaced by a coach in which reqired them to give up a king's ransom (gruden), he left behind his former team in which he was a popular coach who had turned there franchise around from dissappointing year after year to super bowl contenders; not only leave though, but he left in a fashion upsetting many of his former players; and now he comes back to face his former team, not to mention the new leader of his former team (callihan) the man he hired for that team, on the biggest stage in the world....SUPER BOWL XXXVII....now the outcome will be decided by crushing blows laid out on the opposing teams in a chess like sophisticated fashion which is known as football.
i'd have to say my favorite trio, the top 3 weapons of MVP gannon: rice, brown, and garner....i only say that group b/c they were the easiest ones to group into a trio - b/c the RAIDERS are formed of an entire team of entirely equally important components.
i guess that's all i have to say about all that's important in the world at the moment.

whoa!!! i'm glad everyone has taken our collective new year's resolution seriously. thought our blogland was headed for extinction. i'm glad i have something to look forward to when i get to work...besides work.
gee, so much to comment on...reality tv, sports, an infamous rap...what first?
as i am only a part-time reality buff, i have only a few comments on the forementioned reality shows. joe millionare...great show! "why" does one ask? because these girls are gonna get the rug pulled from under them! i just love it when girls are made to look like they are the bitchy heartless golddiggers they are. so fun! i watch road rules/real world and tough enough occasionally. i can't belive tough enough is your favorite show jefe...there aren't any good looking girls on the show...i guess you prefer men in tight clothes.
moving along...sports. since i had the titans winning it all, i guess i will root for the raiders..."the autumn wind"...that's all i know
final thoughts - jefe, you are one sick man! i can't believe you're talking about silicone and boobs and stuff...nonetheless, it was truly entertaining. mucho props to you. i know the real reason you haven't blogged in such a long time is because you were saving that rap for us.
alright, enough of me. keep um comin people!

Hey all, love the blogging.. keeps me entertained all week long... Jeff, I think that if I had a column it'd be called doyouPHILme... just like my sn... Phil me in would be a close second.... never thought of that one... as far as trios... Charlie's Angels is my #1, then it has to be three's company, and then it would have to be Charmed....
I never talked about Tahoe..so let me share some of my thoughts... I personally had fun going to Tahoe..... Obviously the gambling was my favorite part... but I must say that snowboarding was quite amusing... though I was completely frustrated that I was unable to get up once... I am happy I tried it at least once... don't know if I would try it again anytime soon... skiing might be more of an option.. maybe I can get up easier there.... if I was to do snowboarding again... I would definitely take lessons... Regardless of what anyone says I think I would just feel better in a lessons class... PHil never does well in winter sports... much thanks for Michelle, Christine, and Dennis for trying to help me learn.... you guys are the best.. and I'm SOOOO jealous that you can do it... yes I know it takes practice... but then again I usually don't have much patience if I can't figure it out pretty quick... Gambling was fun... lost lots in Roulette but I had enjoyed the ball and its spinning round and round... I was watching the travel channel and realized that Bacarrat and Poker are two of the best games to play as far as odds for players... I think I'm going to try that next when I go to Vegas with Ariel for valentine's... (maybe I"ll like it even more than roulette.... uuhhh... naaaaa)
Ok so I know you've been waiting to hear my thoughts on reality TV... so here goes:
HS REUNION: OK so this week was a little bit more interesting... It seemed to center around Mr. Nerd Ben and Dan's "package".. now I understand that they have to keep pumping it up saying that he has so much more confidence.... yeah I guess so.. but with a face like that he should a little bit more humble... though I wonder if Maya and him might hook up.. I find it interesting how Dave "the bully" wants to go after Holly "the shy girl".. Holly is definitely one of the most pretty girls on the show.. but I don't know if Holly should go for it... I think she likes to tease him (anyone notice how she didn't fully put on her bathrobe after the backrub??) Can't wait for next week... the "popular people" have an exclusive party and psychotic and paranoid a.k.a the "tall girl" and "bitchy girl" and some other are not invited.. stay tuned...
JOE MILLIONAIRE: After the 5 dates, I must say that mr millionaire isn't pretty suave... He gets Melissa M a self-portrait of herself (which I must say makes her look like bugs bunny with those f*cked up teeth)... I do think though she is WAY into him... she's a shoe-in for top 3 if not top 2... MOJO... talk about naive.. she thought her dinner went well when in fact he was trying to stretch the conversation.. (I honestly think he keeps her to kept some bootie, but I think she was in it for the money..).... Sarah..she seems pretty sweet... very nice and innocent.. she might be able to sway herself into top 3.. but I dunno she seems a little dense as well... Zora... I don't know if she trying to play the "helene" from bachelor by playing hard to get but she seems to playing "way too hard"... she was my pick to win but now I'm starting to doubt if she'll even make it next round... last person he had a date with was ms allison a.k.a "I always breakout of relationship"... now she was complete b*T*H the beginning of the date... it was SOOO bad that he even asked her whether or not she was "in" to him and see if it was even "worth going further".. and she said 'NO"... which actually broke the ice between them and they had a great ending date.. however that lame response from her eliminated her from the game and he did not give her a necklace... and funny thing she starts crying about it... saying "I wish I never said that, I wish I could take it back"... oh well girl.. think before you talk... Things should get interseting next week b/c they are now moving to late-night rendezvous w/ a hot tub.. and if anyone knows from the bachelor 2... hot tub means kissing.. (at least usually)...
Ok AMERICAN IDOL IS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!WOOHOO... CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT..... I BELIEVE IT'S ON AT 8 OR 9PM ON FOX... DON'T MISS IT!!!!
I'll post more later... I think I've blogged enough for tonight
PHIL
happy new year everyone! i know i know, a little delayed, but hey, i was wandering international waters. while all of you had a raging time at Ed & Ant's rockin New year's Eve ( or was it cancelled again...kidding!), i was in good ol' europa....Amsterdam, Paris, Venice and London to be exact.
highlights of the trip:
*SNOW!!! it was dumping snow in paris and snowing in venice and london too.....that was lots of fun....
*the fact that everyone thought rob and i were japanese/asian tourists, so they were really nice to us instead of treating us horribly (like they did to all the american tourists...yikes!)
*PRE-FIXE meals in paris! 3 courses PLUS a bottle of wine for good prices....yummy in my tummy...
*rob & i attempting to speak French with an authentic french accent.....thank god none of you were there.
*rob & i attempting to speak Italian with an authentic italian accent....ugh.
*pizzerias in venice run by Koreans...Chinese...and Indians... and they all speak fluent italian!!!.....jigga what?
*staying @ our friend's artist loft in London where a gun siege was taking place a block away....
*eating "SPECIAL CAKE" for breakfast in Amsterdam and realizing far too late that it was much to special....so special that Sylvia starts seeing things change colors...oh boy. (btw...special cake ends up lasting until the end of the day....ouch)
ahhh...good times...good times....
but now i'm back, and ready to have some fun!!! too bad i missed all that fun in tahoe....how was it anyways? all i know is included in jefe's blog (which was hilarious, by the way)....we should definitely make another trip sometimes soon....anyone down for a day trip even?
anyways, time to go relax and get rid of this crazy cold of mine.
peace out y'all...

First off, very nice job on the reality review Phil! As of this moment, and having finished watching another episode of High School Reunion, I must say this show is catching up very quickly to Tough Enough 3 in vying to win the prize of my favorite TV show nowadays. The characters they have are quite interesting and I just imagine how a hs reunion for us would be...who would be there?...who would hook up?...what labels would ppl get? (Please throw in suggestions if you would like)...where would it be?...If you guys haven't started watching, please do and refer to Phil's guide for the station and times the show plays (how you like that cross reference Phil?) Hey hold on...Phil you should have a weekly critique/coloumn of stuff (tv, clothing, etc.) and you should call it "Phil Me In!"
Random Thoughts
I wonder how many times trista (the bachelorette) goes to the bathroom...she has a drink or two in her hands every scene...that miller lite commercial with the two girls fighting is still the best commercial out there...tom brady's snickers commercial is second...that nike running commercial with the streaker was funny only the first time....repetition can be annoying...the flip switch on the rear view mirror of a car has gots to be one of the greatest inventions ever...what the heck is avaya?...i still can't figure it out...isn't it a trip how much ronde and tiki barber look alike...and them TWINS!...here's to football!...jason kidd's diary proved two things: 1) he's gotta be the sharpest tool in the shed cuz he eats a whole apple with a spoon and needs to be corected by his son 2) his son has a big head and likes to play house...my van's floor is still dirty...the corners of brownies are the best...i can't believe i messed up making rice krispy treats one time...snap, crackle and pop come in a close second to alvin, simon and theodore in the best trios ever...hanson comes in third...amerie is climbing the charts...my favorite girls chart...long ways to go to catch up to....shannyn sossaman...shannyn sossaman...shannyn sossaman!
Before i go...pass me the stick, the baton, the mic....let it flow
Jefe, spit mad game but been deprived of sects, call up all the hotties in my Rola-dex, of cards we can play strip POKER, naked girls run round cuz I possess the JOKER, quite sexy with nothing on but their chokers, taking off my shirt ain't no prob cuz I'm so buff, I keep it STRAIGHT...no need to BLUFF. Girls arses in my face all night long...I'm all in a hush, I can't wait to get my next FLUSH, not 1 but 2000 of them, puffing the mj straight from the stem, puff puff give you f-ing up the rotation, my originality leads to straight imitation.
Chorus/hook:
Ante up, ante up, let the chips reign down
Ante up, ante up, vegas is my town
Ante up, ante up, gonna build up my pride
Ante up, ante up, let it ride, let it ride!
Cruising down the Strip in my drop down jeepney, escalades and navis pass me up cuz i can only go fifty, digging the girls like they dig my gold, too many breasts for my one hand to hold, one hand on the phone one hand on the silicone, press the magic button to hear the girls moan.
But back to the game, the girls yell HIT ME with every hand, but lucky am I to always STAND, PAT on my back, KINGS coming up STRAIGHT with the JACKS, ROYAL FLUSH I throw down...pow pow! Give me my skrill...PAI GOW PAI GOW! Am I a STUD or am I a STUD?
The same is said for the rest of the hands, clothes coming off and all the skrill I be stealing, pulling up ACE after ACE, phat hands I'm revealing, looking around at my girls I ask myself...do they dig me for my thug appeal or my POKER face?
Ante up, ante up....
I'm out! JEFE-B-O-L-O-U-S

Can it be true, is this blog finally up and running again? Wait, let me take that back. I don't want to jinx anything.
The U.S. men's national soccer team whomped on Canada 4-0 today. But seeing as how college hoops took over every single TV station today, the game was only available on pay per view and my broke ass was forced to hop online to matchtracker to follow the game. Landon Donovan finished with two
assists, in case you were wondering.
I love Jason Kidd. Did anyone catch his diary on MTV? He is soooo good with kids, making him that much more appealing. And damn his four-year old son's got a pretty sweet shot for a little kidd. Note to the guys - if you want to win a girl over, be a softie with the kiddies. And maybe polish up your ball-handling skills, get an NBA contract and a fat house. Then the girls will come a runnin!
Oregon's shaky, Duke's unbeated streak came to an end, and what the hell's been going on with UCLA? I gotta look into some new teams here.
Phil (a.k.a really super buff. Oh I mean super reality buff), that was the most comprehensive guide to reality television that I have ever seen. And thanks for adding the days and times, Mr. TV Guide!
I'm all about MTV's Battle of the Sexes for two reasons: one, for the drama-filled cast and two, for Colin from Hawaii and Eric Nies from NY (ok technically that makes it three reasons). Laettarian is a big fat (I mean buff) poser. He's too much of a testosterone-driven cheerleader and less of a real competitor. And thank god Beth got the boot. She needs to take a hint and not come back to these challenges anymore.
The only reason I've been watching Tough Enough is because my friend Ali is friends with one of the competitors (hotboy John, who by the way is fifty times hotter in person - I saw him wrestle at some janky amateur event in Sac). That Jamie girl is really annoying and I'm sorry to say, but is just so not cute. Jonah and Matt are gonna win it all, they've got the wrestler look going for them. Image is everything in showbiz people.
Where do I sign up to be next season's Bachelorette? Don't care so much for the TV aspect of it as I do the schmoozing with a room full of fellas that are all GQ-ed out. My fave is scruffy Rob, but I don't know how far he'll go, especially when competing against guys like the Tiffany box guy.
Joe Millionaire is a Joe Retard.
Corbin Bernson is the mole.
And I am watching way too much television.
~Taft
So I've seen the blogging has begun for the new year... I felt that I had to share some of my thoughts on what the new year has been so far...
*REALITY TV IS BACK... I SWEAR I'M IN REALITY HEAVEN*
JOE MILLIONAIRE - Talk about a great way to poke fun at the bachelor...At first I thought it would be messed up for those girls to get decieved and fooled by this joe-blow $19,000/year construction worker... but then after seeing most of those girls I am not sorry at all for those girls... That Heidi is one big bimbo who is a gold-digger only after money... she should have been voted right from the get-go... then there's the two asians... one who claimed that she did not want to be the "bread-winner" and that she wanted a guy w/ "ambition".... talk about selfish on her part... then the second one who was a "foo-foo" and wore tinted shades to a formal grand ballroom ball"... both seriously put Asian in a terrible light... Anyway my pick for winner is Zara... the Kristen Davis look-a-like... she is the prettiest and by far the coolest out of the final 5... I wasn't surprised that he got rid of all the minorities... do these shows ever get a minority into the finals... hardly ever... For those of you who don't know.. this show is on Mondays at 9pm on Fox...
THE BACHELORETTE - This show seems pretty interesting.. 25 guys vying for one pretty cute girl... only problem is... when she finally chooses her mister right.. does he go one knee? or does she??? I dont' know how that works.. for those of you who haven't seen the show.. they brought back Tricia from Bachelor 1 (the girl who got denied in the finals to semi-decent Amanda)....Anyway I never necessarily like Tricia... However, putting her on this show, I take it back... it looks like she was one nice lady... when I first saw the 25 guys on the website.. I thought to myself.. how crappy are her choices.. but in all honestly some of them have great potential.. I personally am rooting for basketball player who forfeited in chance to play in sweden to go on this show.. (i think his name is Jamie)...and I like the guy who kinda looks like Josh harnett but I forgot his name.. Russ I would like if he didn't seem like such a gigolo.. talk about trying to buy his way in by giving her some tiffany jewelry... For those of you who want to watch it is on Wednesday at 9pm on ABC
SURREAL LIFE - 7 past-celeberires all living together and doing daily routines for two weeks... Now I"ve only seen the first episdoe (these's been two so far).. and so far I'm not that impressedthe celeberites on the show are: MC Hammer, Emmanuel Lewis (webster), Gabrielle Carteis (Andrea from 90210), Corey Feldman, A rock singer, Jeri from Survivor, and some playboy model... But anyway it seems like the most drama will be coming form mc hammer and corey feldman but as far as everyone else.. they seem pretty boring.. I could be wrong and the 2nd episode might have been more interesting.. but this isn't something that I"m dying to see.. Anyone who wants to watch this one, it is on at 9pm on Thursday nights on the WB
HIGH SCHOOL REUNION - Now this is a pretty damn good show in my opinion About 15 people come to Hawaii to have a "high school reunion".. they have all the stereotypes from the "jock" to the "chubby cheerleader" to the "misfit" to the "bitchy girl"... It's great... there are love triangles, psychotic stalkers, drama-queens (mainly from the bitchy girl, go figure), and they have "hall passes" where whoever is given one (supposedly randomly) gets to ask someone out on a date... so that's where all the excitement happens... but anyway... I can't wait to see what unfolds next on this show.. This show is also on the WB on Sunday at 9pm and replays on thursday nights at 8pm... ..
CELEBERITY MOLE - Now normally I would be excited about this show... however, with Ahmad Rashad as the host and not that other guy who now is on CNN.... I find that this show not as interesting and mysterious...7 celeberities (just like surreal life) basically go on missions and one by one each week someone gets "exectued" based on a 10-question on the identity of the mole... So far Kim Coles (from Living Single) and Stephen Baldwin have been exectued.. 5 are left..It seems a bit interesting but it seems like this show is going to end right when it's gonna get good.. they should have gone with at least 10 celebs.. but I guess they couldn't get that many to be on the show for that long... for those of you who are curious who's left.. it's Corbin Bernsen (l.a. law) frederique vanderwal (model) eric-idontknowhis last name (from the princess bride), black guy that was on spin city, and kathy something (from the E-show, classic comedian)... in my personal opinion, I think one of the girls is the mole... either Kathy or Frederique.. I'd go with the latter... she's too quiet... This show is on right after The bachelorette on wednesdays at 10pm on ABC.
REAL WORLD/ROAD RULES: BATTLE OF THE SEXES: Now this is by-far my favorites... battling the most drama/controvesial people on the show, (can i say Ellen, Puck, David, Steven, Jisela just to name a few?) all one on show competing for tons of money... put them in Jamaica in bathing suits and can I say I"m there??? I love this show... and then each week the top 3 male and top 3 females vote off someone from their gender to be booted.... This show has the making of a nice cat-fight... So far the people that have been booted are David and Laterrian (sorry girls, I know how much you love him) and Julie and Beth from the girls side.. my picks to win the whole thing: Ruthie and Eric Neese.. (is that what his name is?) This show is on Monday at 10pm on MTV
TOUGH ENOUGH - I thought this show wasn't interesting at first but now I've begun to become hooked on it... I believe they are down to the final four (I'm not sure) but I can't wait to see who gets chosen to get WWF contracts... either way it should have a good ending... jefe, tell me what's happened in the last two weeks, I've missed it.. I believe this show is on MTV at 10-10:30? on Thursday nights...
Ok enough of reality TV... let me know what you guys all think about these shows.. I'd love to know if any of you are watching it... I'll post again soon about other things soon.. didn't want to tire all of you out... Have a great weekend!
Yours truly

Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton could not have sung it any better! We, the 3rd Floor Crew, do rely on each other! And it looks like REEG and TAFT have jumped on the cruise ship and are sailing away. Now, is the time for the rest of us to jump on that ship and enjoy the ride with them. We collectively are gonna get this USS BLOGGLESHIP out of the rough waters and back on track...no compasses needed, but maybe a protractor.
CLANK CLANK....RATTLE RATTLE
Top Reasons NOT to rent an SUV (more specifically, a black Jeep Cherokee) for a trip to Tahoe from EASY Rent-a-Car in San Mateo:
1) Printing your business' name off the computer and sticking those papers on the window of a vacated bedroom does not suggest a real professional business atmosphere.
2) Right before handing over the keys, the manager says "don't worry about the "check engine" light if it comes on, it's normal....we get the car checked regulary." Lo and behold, the light comes on once the car started and never went away.
3) A screw falls off the sun visor of the passenger side literally 2 minutes after getting in the car when Michelle tries to strap Nick's cd packet to it.
4) The car smells like crap....smells so bad that it required making a stop at Target not even an hour into the trip. However, a strong peach scent is recommended and makes a huge difference.
5) Kinda sucks when you can't get the trunk open using the key and have to use the auto door lock in the front. Kinda sucks that the driver's side auto door lock does not lock the other doors of the car.
6) Dirty wipers can make seeing cars and obstacles in front of you more difficult.
7) Kinda sucks that the auto mirror adjustment for the drivers side doesn't work...talk about blind spot!
8) It's great when we, the renters, have to maintain the coolant cuz it's below the "add" level.
9) Finally, it's not good when stopped at a light and it's all quiet, and all that could be heard is a loud clank clank rattle rattle from the engine.
So, after a year off, I started school again. I'm taking the one class i refused to take in Davis...Microbiology! Now don't be jealous y'all...it's so fun....yeah right! Gotta lot of work in store and i hear it's gonna be a hard class. Just what i need after a full day of work.
Tough enough 3 is the best show on tv....followed by high school reunion....and celebrity mole.....green basketball shoes don't really match anything but green shorts or shirts....Duke's men's b-ball team is still undefeated and ranked #1 in the country....prediction: bill walsh is such an egomaniac that he will name himself the new coach of the niners even for a year....it really sucks when BART is delayed and i miss my bus and get to work late...it sucks even more when there is no parking at BART cuz of all those damn reserved spots taking up space and no one uses them cuz we all too cheap to pay for them...i took four years of spanish in high school with one year being AP spanish....me gusto espanol mi amiga...i can't coach lacrosse but i can try to dress like a lacrosse player...learning to dress good for the sport you're playing is half the battle....practice? we talking about practice?....college ruled binder paper is so much more better than wide ruled binder paper...dial up modems kinda suck since i don't know if someone's trying to call me now....the right amount of chocalate covering nuts make the best candy...i'm not one to gamble, but KENO can be a quick win....never fall on your hands when snowboarding....having a big ass doesn't mean it won't get sore from falling on it all day snowboarding...michelle and christine were sick in tahoe and now val reyes is sick...is that what they mean by cabin fever?...not vacuuming your van for months sure does leave a dirty floor and dirty mats....shannyn sossaman...shannyn sossaman....shannyn sossaman!
finally, me, val and MAN-E are planining on going to nets v. warriors next thurs. nite...let me know if any of you are interested.
Jefe, the sexual adobo, with the mojo, to keep the ladies being ho-ho's, run so fast from the po-po, i don't make skrill but i do make dough, rise as fast as the yeast and come as white as the snow, flakes on the ground in South Lake Tahoe...i'm out!

Davis apt
Venting...
For someone who's only taking two classes this quarter, I've been quite the busy bee.
I have the feeling that someone up above really doesn't want me to graduate and leave Davis. Proof: the supervisor for the Spanish 3 class that I need to pass in order to graduate won't let me into the class!! I'm number one on the wait list and for the past week and two days, no one has dropped. So I'm stuck on the wait list and the damn supervisor will not allow anyone to exceed the set class number of 25. I make 26 and apparently this one extra person makes these administrative people very uncomfortable and thus will not let me in!! You'll be updated when I do about this situation, I'm trying to work my magic with these folks.
The Davis High School program (where I coached last year) is falling apart and apparently I'm the only one who can help save it. The coaches that we set up to be our replacements bailed and no one's left. Tryouts are next week and rumor has it that up to 60 girls will be there. I'm praying for a lacrosse miracle here, I can't find anyone willing to fill the position. Any of you at home want to move to Davis for a few months and coach high school girl's lacrosse? Just thought I'd throw it out there.
I need an assistant coach so bad for my club team (the UCD club team, not to be mistaken with the high school. I know, it can get complicated). There's just too many people on the field to be able to watch after everyone and keep things from breaking into chaos. Someone...help.
And finally, the bus drivers in Davis are retards. The lady driving my bus line tonight didn't know where the hell she was going, nor did she know what bus line she was driving. We sat in the middle of downtown for 5 minutes while she tried to orient herself in the town. Add the fact that this was at 8:45 at night and I hadn't eaten dinner yet. I almost threw her out of the driver's seat and drove to my apartment complex myself. That's a pretty picture - licenseless tiff behind the wheel of a big ass bus. Can you see it? It almost happened.
On a positive note, Regan, nice to see you again. Sorry to hear you lost your phone.
Snow trip was fun, despite the nasty bruises on my ankles (damn snowboard boots). Things learned: check the buffet prices before standing in line, don't talk to Jeff when he's half asleep because he doesn't make any sense, and apparently I'm the only one who brings sunshine to Phil's bed, if you know what I mean. :-)
Here's hoping that God doesn't play any practical jokes on me tomorrow.
