Actually I could be wrong on the one-hit wonder part, but you'd have to consult Reeg on that one. I think he's the higher power in that area of music. -Anyone up to watch a lacrosse game this Saturday? We're playing our big rivals, Santa Clara, for the top spot in the league and bragging rights to maintaining a perfect undefeated season. Game time's at 11am though, so I don't know if any yall would be up to waking up early on a Saturday. But if there are any takers, gimme a holla.
-To Tiff and ECP (if he still reads this): either of you remember a kid named Francis Lee from Holy Name? Received a strange, random email today from this guy claiming that we went to Holy Name together. Ring a bell?
-Real World needs to end quick, I've never seen them stretch storylines out so much. Enough already. RW/RR's challenge was a yawner, but how bout that drama. Looking forward to Fraternity Life (Phil, I bet you're not surprised by that statement at all. And of all shows, that "Are you Hot" show has got your name written all over it. The first time I heard of it, I instantly thought of you).
-re: American Idol: Hate to say this, but I'm just gonna throw it out there. White people sure crack me up sometimes. Exhibit A: the rock star wannabe fella on the show last night. How wrong was that. Singing an R&B song alongside a piano, wearing metal spike jewelry, throwing the cliched "rock on" horns in the air. Something just didn't fit. And then we had the Britney blond who was, according to the judges, "pretty" and/or "beautiful" but....(insert action other than singing here). Man, most of the singing sucked last night, but that sure was some entertainment.

Hey all,
Just wanted to say a quick hello..to your point jefe, I remember the boys, I believe they sang Sally.. or at least that's what I thought they sang.. Anyway... congrats to Tiff's 2nd victory in lax.. very impressive for 1st year coach... I must say.. anyway... I have to say on my note, we finally won our first game tonight in straight sets beating the team that beat us in the final last season... It was very sweet to say the least... I finally took on more of a captain's roll and I think it worked... we totally rocked and came back from a 14-8 deficit in the 2nd game to beat them 14-16... heheheh I just have to gloat... Just when I thought I was leaving Mervyn's.. the director of the divison pulled me into her office... she basically tried to pep me up and say not to be discouraged.... anyway they said that my plans of possibly moving into a new area are very likely and that it's just a matter of a short time... so fear not.. Phil is still at Mervyn's... just hopefully not in the same position for much longer.. heeheheheh
anyway.. as far as my reality TV recaps. i figured I stopped talking about it, b/c it probably bores everyone to death.. but just to add my two cents
Joe Millionaire- I'm really surprised that all the girls were happy for Zora and Evan.. it looks like they'll have a chemistry for a long time coming..
American Idol - No one seems that sensational from tonight's group... I pick the marine and the last guy as the two that go forward.. all the rest were angry, tone-deaf people

Hey y'all, I was meaning to drop this joint two weeks ago but have been too busy to do so. Yah feel me? Well, being that Tuesday is the day to drop albums...here's another single from my album.

By the way, how many of you out there remember the R&B group "The Boys". There was like 4 of them in the group...we were in grade school. If any of you (esp. Basilio, the music expert) know any of their songs, please list them so I can prove to Nick and T-Lam that they actually existed. Thanks.

It’s 11:19 PM on Friday night and my team beat Chico 13-8 just a few hours ago. So why do I feel like we just lost? Maybe it’s the fact that we played below par the whole 60 minutes. Maybe it’s the fact that after the game, already feeling down, my friend’s know-it-all boyfriend proceeded to drill me into the ground with everything he saw that went wrong on the field, everything he thought I should have done, everything he would have done if he were the coach. Yeah he didn’t help matters at all and I almost threw my food in his face. Looks like I have a new enemy. Oh and I found out my other enemy, Dan the Dick, sprained his wrist last weekend and can’t play lacrosse for a few weeks. Looks like my voodoo doll worked.
Anyone catch Justin Timberlake’s new Making the Video of his newest single “Rock Your Body.” Don’t worry, you didn’t miss much ‘cause it was some boring ass shit. The video itself was basically a mix of Will Smith’s “Getting Jiggy With It (insert the na na na na na na na here)” and Puff Daddy’s “Diddy” video all in one package. What a biter. I give it a C-.
Finally got my computer up and running with some internet connection and rediscovered my love of downloading mp3’s. Looking to expand my oldies R&B collection, anyone have any suggestions. My personal recently downloaded faves include Chicago’s “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” Billy Vera’s “At This Moment,” and Tony Bennett’s “Way You Look Tonight.” Can you tell I’m going the cheesy love songs route here. Love it.
Here's hoping that I don't make any other new enemies in the coming weeks. And here's wishing that I was at Regan's little shindig getting my drink on rather than sitting here, stuck in Davis.

*MR. ROULETTE RETURNS FROM SIN CITY*
Hey all, Ariel and I just got back from spending the long weekend in Vegas ... I have so much to say about it... but I figured that I don't have that much time especially since I should be getting to bed soon.. and plus I don't think I want to write novels... Anyway... I have created my list of the top 10 things to do/not do in Vegas
TOP 10 THINGS TO DO (either from experience or from what's I"ve heard)
10. Check out the Venetian and go on a gondola ride... who would have thought Gondola in a shopping center... (I personally would have ridden it if I had known about it sooner (I only went there 5 hours before my flight)
9. Ride some of the roller coaster at the different hotels... (adventure dome at Circus, Speed @ Sahara, New York's roller coaster, and the stratosphere's two ride at the top)...
8. Eat at the Palm at Caesar's. Talk about some grub ass food.. the price is a little steep, but the portions are enormous... Prime Rib is a must!
7.Chat with people who sit next to you at the tables/slot machines.. you can actually have more fun if you are around people you at least get acquainted with
6. If you love filipino food you need to try eatingg at Pinoy/Pinay on Sahara Drive. It's actually cheap, decent, and pretty good food.
5 Go see "O", this will be on my next trip, unfortunately all the good seats were gone for this weekend, but just from the previews I've seen at other Cirque du Soleil shows this is the best of them yet.
4 Go to Primm Outlet (30 miles from the strip)... nice outlets.. usually some good finds if you look hard enough.. plus it has the closest BR outlet around... (next to Camarillo in LA but who really goes there)
3 Cruise- There are always good looking people wherever you go.It's fun just to look at all the different people
2 The Bellagio Water Show @ Night, Never realized how moving water could look so neat (especially when it goes to music)
1 Go to casinos off the strip...(more spefically, Palace Station, Orleans, any Old Town Casino, and the Palm) I honestly believe that there is way you can make much more money.. The people are more down-to-earth.. the bet minimums are cheap and plus I won probably about $300 bucks there (however when you take into acct the money I spent in the big casinos, I probably broke out even for the weekend)
Top 10 things NOT to do
10) Don't eat at the Monte Carlo buffet... it's not that great
9) Don't wait until 3:30 to eat lunch.. buffet for most casino places close
8) Get so drunk off your ass you gotta be carried away (I saw that a couple times, totally modation)
7) Spill your drink on a game table.. you must be the biggest klutz ever plus, you delay the game for everyone.. that happened about 4 times thsi weekend.
6) Take any of those pamphelets those street people try to give to you by making that clap noise... all it is.. is low-rated porn
5) Never put more chips on the table than you could ever get back in return.. I swear some people have no idea how to count
4) Be careful when you walk.. I think now 3 couples have my body in their pictures..
3) Play Roulette on the Strip.. usually the minimums are higher than what you can find at Reno or old town.. your best game on the strip would be craps/ blackjack
2) Never go to the airport without checking the status (if me and Ariel did that on the way there, we would have been at the airport for 6 hours due to a 4 hour delay) sucks huh
1) NEVER NEVER PLAN a return flight the same time that all-girls teams are taking as well.. Apparently half of the blonde population in America were in vegas and at the airport at the same time...There was apparently a 25th annual v-ball invitational that girls all over the country were invited too.. and seriously.. they were ALL blonde.. I was like there is not even a dark-skinned one... They took forever, were loud, obnoxious and asked dumb questions. Honestly Titff, there the teams you love to hate.. I've seen your team and at least they had some diversity..But anyway that's my opinion.

Last thing... JOE MILLIONAIRE - cannot believe what happened! For those of you who missed it.. Evan picked Zora instead of Sarah b/c he thought Zora was genuine and Sarah was in it for the money... Neither girl seems to have a big reaction after he broke the lie to them which I was shocked... Sarah was very disapointed and seem to try to hide it by making fun of him thinking that he's just dumb and must have some "nerve" to present himself as a lie"... Anyway they brought back Melissa M to help Sarah pack (and also for some sh*t talking to happen)... Anyway they were just trippin out and wondering if there jewels were even real... Anyway.. after Evan told Zora the truth he asked her to come to the grand ballroom to give her an answer if they would like to continue on this "journey"... anyway.. she finally arrives in her blue dress (the same one she wore to the ball I believe) and said that trust was something she truly valued in a man and that she was disappointed that he lied to her.. HOWEVER, she said that the money was the one BIG thing that turned her off... so she decided to look past the lie and continue on the journey... Wow.. I was truly shocked at this point.. then Paul the butler gives them on a silver platter... a millionaire dollar check ending the story saying "all fairy tales must have a good ending with some magic"... and so... Evan and Zora.. who knew???
Next week they talk about the aftermath and if Evan and Zora will continue to see each other...
REAL WORLD/ROAD RULES - Basically I didn't watch the last half... but basically there was a "who can freeze there ass on a block of ice" the longest... in the end Ellen beat out Ayanna and got the ion life saver... Dan was eliminated and as a complete shocker they eliminated a stunned Rachel who was very emotional... all the girls were totally in drama-fest... basically Ms. Emily created the drama by nominating Rachel b/c she didn't "want her around"... anyway all the girls gang up on Ruthie and Ellen" b/c they've been the inner-circle consistently and they keep voting off people "randomly" or at least "suspiciously".. Anyway... that's the scoop...
Ok Hope to hear from you all soon.. by the way congrats Tiff on winning your first game of the season.. I knew you'll do well.. my first game is tomorrow.. wish me luck!

Last thing... JOE MILLIONAIRE - cannot believe what happened! For those of you who missed it.. Evan picked Zora instead of Sarah b/c he thought Zora was genuine and Sarah was in it for the money... Neither girl seems to have a big reaction after he broke the lie to them which I was shocked... Sarah was very disapointed and seem to try to hide it by making fun of him thinking that he's just dumb and must have some "nerve" to present himself as a lie"... Anyway they brought back Melissa M to help Sarah pack (and also for some sh*t talking to happen)... Anyway they were just trippin out and wondering if there jewels were even real... Anyway.. after Evan told Zora the truth he asked her to come to the grand ballroom to give her an answer if they would like to continue on this "journey"... anyway.. she finally arrives in her blue dress (the same one she wore to the ball I believe) and said that trust was something she truly valued in a man and that she was disappointed that he lied to her.. HOWEVER, she said that the money was the one BIG thing that turned her off... so she decided to look past the lie and continue on the journey... Wow.. I was truly shocked at this point.. then Paul the butler gives them on a silver platter... a millionaire dollar check ending the story saying "all fairy tales must have a good ending with some magic"... and so... Evan and Zora.. who knew???
Next week they talk about the aftermath and if Evan and Zora will continue to see each other...
REAL WORLD/ROAD RULES - Basically I didn't watch the last half... but basically there was a "who can freeze there ass on a block of ice" the longest... in the end Ellen beat out Ayanna and got the ion life saver... Dan was eliminated and as a complete shocker they eliminated a stunned Rachel who was very emotional... all the girls were totally in drama-fest... basically Ms. Emily created the drama by nominating Rachel b/c she didn't "want her around"... anyway all the girls gang up on Ruthie and Ellen" b/c they've been the inner-circle consistently and they keep voting off people "randomly" or at least "suspiciously".. Anyway... that's the scoop...

Woo Woo: The first game of the season, first game of my college coaching career, came and went. And yes we won. Score? 16-4, thank you very much. :-) I expected a lot more out of UOP, especially when they scored the first goal just a minute into the game, but my players came back and decided to score four goals for every one of theirs. The game was in Stockton and damn was it cold. Game time was supposed to be 7pm, but because the field wasn't lined properly, we had to wait an extra twenty minutes for UOP to repaint the lines. Next up on the schedule for me to stress about is the Santa Barbara Shootout over President's Day weekend. Anyone interested in being on our Aggie Lacrosse mailing list for updates? Let me know.
And I'm Spent: I've been up since 8:30 this morning, only because there was a U.S. soccer game on at 9am today. Too bad they lost 1-0 to Argentina. I decided to stop watching halfway through the second half because it was an unexciting game. Games that end in 1-0 are the most boring ones to watch, only because just one goal is scored during the entire 90 minutes. Unless there are some crazy shots being taken left and right, my attention goes elsewhere. The only highlight of the game was the new Gatorade commercial shown during halftime with Michael Jordan playing against his Chicago Bulls self. Genius.
Reality TV overdose: Sorority Life 2 is coming out later in February, along with its male counterpart Fraternity Life. I guess the sorority gals of UCD made quite an imprint on the world with their whining about hair, makeup, drinking and macking on friends' boyfriends that a sequel was needed. When's this "reality" madness going to end!
Let's go retro and bring back the "Question of the Week." If you could go on any reality show or dating show (man there are millions of these dating shows too), which would it be? I pick MTV Diary. Oh wait, I'm not famous, forget that. Ok how about flipping the Joe Millionaire script and going for a Joanne (or Tiff) Millionairesse. Give it a few months and you'll see it on FOX, no doubt.

good morning all (i mean, tiff and phil)!!!!
how's davis and oaktown? not sure what the weathers been like where you guy and gal are but SF is sunny but chilly (chilly is defined as NERT weather). hopefully the it will stay nice over the weekend. yes, my life is so blah that i have to resort to superfluous comments about the weather. woohoo!
congratulations on getting your new computer. i can't believe you had a computer that couldn't handle AOL 7.0 - welcome to the 90s! hahahaha
i'm sorry tiff that you have to deal with dan the dick. i feel that every girl has come across their own version of "dan the dick" all i can say is keep the faith. and pray. pray that you will have the strength to demoralize this little man, the witticism to crush his manhood, and the knife to ....nevermind. wouldn't want you to do any that would get you in trouble. so stomping on his manhood and questioning his intelligence are my suggestions. KEEP THE FAITH!!!! and for nick calling you a tit (which is the one word in the english language that i loathe) i would seriously consider calling him nick the dick from now on. quite ironic since he doesn't have one. muhahahahaha

Work SUCKS...
Anyway, Haven't seen most of you in ages.. Probably have seen you online or chatted with you while I drive from point A to point B... but you probably haven't seen me b/c work has taken over my life again.. yes I am working 8-8 shifts.. yeah.. you can call me adult sweatshop labor... just white collar work though..my dept sucks... only good thing for me is that I'm though highly of by everyone in the dept (though I pretty much talk sh*t about everyone but about many a couple... Ahhh....anyway... to be topics.. I got a new computer everyone.. bought myself a new Dell computer... nice and quick.. it runs on windows xp.. which I think is one of the newest ones.. and it is super fast... I never realized what I was really missing... now my computer can handle games and handle A.O.L 7.0... (my old one could barely handle 6.0)... so I was pretty happy about that.. and now I can burn CD's so me and Ariel won't have to buy two of the same CD because neither wants to share heheheeh ... (ariel I know you read this)... and my printer finally works.. so now I can actually print out documents (my old computer's socket for the printer fell into the PC (don't ask how)..anyway on to Reality Tv for the first half of the week.
HS Reunion - Talk about twists adult people.. This week there was major drama with Patricia (the gossip) and Natasha (the popular girl) against NIcole (the tall girl), (the bitch, forgot her name) and the chubby cheerleader (forget her name).. apparently Patricia and Natasha were having a "compliment cocktail" party in which there initially were only inviting the males (totally excluding the females)...When Nicole heard about that she was pissed and went str8 to Patricia and called her out on it.. Patricia, playing innocent, was like uh nothing was set yet.. it was just an idea. and basically tried to blame it all on Natasha... anyway... Patricia and Natasha somehow "quasi-invite" the other girls to come but some dont' show up for awhile until Natasha and Patricia go running after them asking them why they didnt' show...
ON another note, Summer (the flirt) and Maya (the homecoming queen) got hall passes to take people out on dates... Summer, the flirt and troublemaker she is, decided to ask Dan, full well knowing that Natasha and Dan have a thing going... Natasha was pissed and was so hot and bothered she just couldnt' keep thinking about it the whole night Summer and Dan went on the date... Maya actually picked Ben, the nerd, b/c she felt there was some chemistry going... basically both groups hit it off.. Summer only intended to pick Dan b/c she knew he would be the best and fun date of them all... and had no intention of hooking up b/c she had a bf at home... Ben and Maya hit off real well and Maya even claimed that it was "the perfect first date"..
anyway the last thing that also happened was that they had a "rumor central" game where people could ask deep down secrets past or present of anyone on the trip.. .Holly was asked if she was a virgin still after hs graduation, she said yes, dave, the bully, who likes her was very impressed by her virginity... (though he wants to bang her first chance he gets)... Holly also has a thing for Dave and says that he has a "Soft side" no one sees... the other major finding is that Ben, the nerd, is actually a millionaire to everyone's surprised an/or excitemnt... Natasha, the goldigg- I mean the popular girl, was like "damn I should have nabbed him earlier".... anyway tune in next week at 9pm on the WB sundays

(which he's been waiting forever).. and Sarah and him also had a dinner date....At dinner w/ zora...he was a completed dumb-ass and said "did you get that breasts in paris" (of course he meant dress.. cuz you know he was definitely NOT thinking about her breasts".. she basically was embarrasssed and wanted to kick him under the table.. talk about lame ways to impress a girl... second dumb thing he does is on his date w/ Sarah... while having dinner (something w/ him and dinner). he asked her what she was eating.and she said "cream puff" (I believe) and he was like what's in it? and she's like "uh, nothing just dough" and he's like "really, are you sure?" and she's like yeah.... and he's like "uh I swear I've seen them have stuff in it".. anyway he's start hella grubbin on her food literally having bite after bite... he gets so jealous of her food he order a second entree (the exact one she's having) b/c he loves it so much. I swear Sarah was feeding him like he was her dog... or shall I say her bitch... anyway.. so elimination time happens again..two ladies gets diamond pendants.. this time he picks Sarah and surprisingly Zora... thank god Melissa is gone b/c she has no skills (at least in the kitchen) and was only in it for the money.. good riddance. breaking up the Sarah-Melissa alliance, they were such shit-talkers... Next week the final cut, who wil make it? (I think Zora)... any thoughts see ya next week on Fox at 9pm.
BATTLE OF THE SEXES: So this episode literally had nothing about elimination.. it was focused solely on Puck and Betty's wedding... Yeah it was cute.. Tanya, Melissa, and Ellen boycott it b/c they feel that Puck does not treat women right and it was disrespectful to tell Ellen that he was going "to kick her ass" maybe he should "kiss her baby ass" like the one she told Coral a season back....anyway it was nice and cute.. Eric N went skinny dipping ( I know you like that Tiff) and the girls cried during the wedding... but yeah ... next week I think they do something where htey get on top of a car and you see Dan fall off hard... anyway that was random... ok.. until next time. Monday at the 10 spot
AMERICAN IDOL; so first 8 performed (there are 4 sets of 8 top 2 advance of each set to next round)... Basically everyone sucked.. except Kimberly (girl 1) and Tad (#3) and that other guy #7.... I think Julie (the last girl who sang) could have easily made it to the next round if she had picked a better song... I can't believe she messed up like that... but I dunno.. we'll see.. definitely #1 should make it.. it will be a toss up to see who gets second... according to idol polls recently. it will be Tad (#3)... stay tuned wed night at 8:30 to find out the top 2..
P.s did anyone see Tamyra perform on Boston public, I haven't seen her yet... did she already sing???

Watching: Malcolm in the Middle (It's been ages since I've watched this show and it's still as funny as I last remember it).
Days until UCD vs. UOP game: only 5!! (The game was moved up to Friday because of ref scheduling issues, leaving me one less day to prep. Oh man.)
Story of the weekend: Yesterday (Saturday) was officially my moded moment of the year. So I had set up a full intra-squad scrimmage for my club team in the morning at 10am and afterwards I planned to head up to Chico with some players to scout the Chico vs. Santa Clara game (Santa Clara being our big league rivals). Their game was scheduled to occur at 1pm and games usually last about an hour and a half...keep that in mind as it is a very important detail. So we finished the scrimmage at about 11:45am but didn't leave Davis until 12:30, leaving us only 30 min til game time (and it takes an hour and a half to get up to Chico!). So we're bookin it up to Chico, praying that the game didn't start on time or that the refs were late or for some other reason for the game to be delayed a little longer. We got into Chico at exactly 2:30, which is about the time a 1 o'clock game would end, and we sprinted to the field to hopefully catch maybe the last five minutes of the game. We get to the field and absolutely no one is there. Not even the last few players leaving the field, no one. First I thought we just completely missed the game but then I thought there had to be some lacrosse people still around because the game would have just ended. So we ask a random guy running around the track if he had seen a lacrosse game going on just now and he said no, but check the soccer fields across the parking lot. We run across the lot to the soccer field, but no lacrosse. So we ask more people around and no one had seen a single person with lacrosse gear. So I figured either the game was canceled or the time was possibly changed to later that day (which would be great for us). So we head into Chico's gym/sports complex and go running about to look for a schedule of the weekend's sporting events, meanwhile calling everyone we know to find out what's going on with this mysterious game. Finally we bump into some guy working for the sports club office who happened to know some girls on the team and he calls the girl. So what happened? Yeah so the game already happened, Chico lost to Santa Clara, and this game took place at 9:15 this morning!! I was barely awake at that time and basically, by the time my club team started their scrimmage this morning, the Chico-SCU game was already over! Unbelievable. A long ass, stressful drive for nothing. So we decided to hang out in Chico for a little bit, visit a player's brother, eat, and then drive back home. What a waste of a day.
Story of today: I have a new enemy, and his name is Dan the Dick. Warning: this is another lacrosse-related story, so brace yourself. This morning I met up with the new coaches that will be taking over the Davis High program where I coached for the past three years. Basically I'm now their "coaching advisor" for the first month or so until they get everything settled. Three rookie coaches: one girl who played high school lacrosse for only two months, and two guys who currently play for the UCD men's lacrosse team. Not the best resumes, but hey they'll do. We had a meeting this morning with two parent organizers and basically what I got out of it is that these people have no idea what they're getting themselves into. Dan the Dick is basically this cocky little man, hence the name, who thinks this coaching thing will be a piece of cake and doesn't really need any of my input. He never really said that, but when I gave him some papers on the rules of women's lacrosse, he basially glanced at it, rolled his eyes, and put the papers away. Jackass. And everytime I made a suggestion, he decided not to really consider it and offered a "better idea." Bastard. I don't like this guy, and I don't like the fact that he and this other fella are taking over my JV team (yes, I'm a bit possessive about this team, but I worked my ass off for the last 3 seasons to make sure that the JV program was a strong feeder team for the Varsity program, so I think I have reason to be possessive). I'm sure we'll be bumping heads quite a bit in the coming weeks, so I'll be sure to update you of exactly when I do kick his ass.
Enough from me. So....how was your weekend?

Watching: Malcolm in the Middle (It's been ages since I've watched this show and it's still as funny as I last remember it).
Days until UCD vs. UOP game: only 5!! (The game was moved up to Friday because of ref scheduling issues, leaving me one less day to prep. Oh man.)
Story of the weekend: Yesterday (Saturday) was officially my moded moment of the year. So I had set up a full intra-squad scrimmage for my club team in the morning at 10am and afterwards I planned to head up to Chico with some players to scout the Chico vs. Santa Clara game (Santa Clara being our big league rivals). Their game was scheduled to occur at 1pm and games usually last about an hour and a half...keep that in mind as it is a very important detail. So we finished the scrimmage at about 11:45am but didn't leave Davis until 12:30, leaving us only 30 min til game time (and it takes an hour and a half to get up to Chico!). So we're bookin it up to Chico, praying that the game didn't start on time or that the refs were late or for some other reason for the game to be delayed a little longer. We got into Chico at exactly 2:30, which is about the time a 1 o'clock game would end, and we sprinted to the field to hopefully catch maybe the last five minutes of the game. We get to the field and absolutely no one is there. Not even the last few players leaving the field, no one. First I thought we just completely missed the game but then I thought there had to be some lacrosse people still around because the game would have just ended. So we ask a random guy running around the track if he had seen a lacrosse game going on just now and he said no, but check the soccer fields across the parking lot. We run across the lot to the soccer field, but no lacrosse. So we ask more people around and no one had seen a single person with lacrosse gear. So I figured either the game was canceled or the time was possibly changed to later that day (which would be great for us). So we head into Chico's gym/sports complex and go running about to look for a schedule of the weekend's sporting events, meanwhile calling everyone we know to find out what's going on with this mysterious game. Finally we bump into some guy working for the sports club office who happened to know some girls on the team and he calls the girl. So what happened? Yeah so the game already happened, Chico lost to Santa Clara, and this game took place at 9:15 this morning!! I was barely awake at that time and basically, by the time my club team started their scrimmage this morning, the Chico-SCU game was already over! Unbelievable. A long ass, stressful drive for nothing. So we decided to hang out in Chico for a little bit, visit a player's brother, eat, and then drive back home. What a waste of a day.
Story of today: I have a new enemy, and his name is Dan the Dick. Warning: this is another lacrosse-related story, so brace yourself. This morning I met up with the new coaches that will be taking over the Davis High program where I coached for the past three years. Basically I'm now their "coaching advisor" for the first month or so until they get everything settled. Three rookie coaches: one girl who played high school lacrosse for only two months, and two guys who currently play for the UCD men's lacrosse team. Not the best resumes, but hey they'll do. We had a meeting this morning with two parent organizers and basically what I got out of it is that these people have no idea what they're getting themselves into. Dan the Dick is basically this cocky little man, hence the name, who thinks this coaching thing will be a piece of cake and doesn't really need any of my input. He never really said that, but when I gave him some papers on the rules of women's lacrosse, he basially glanced at it, rolled his eyes, and put the papers away. Jackass. And everytime I made a suggestion, he decided not to really consider it and offered a "better idea." Bastard. I don't like this guy, and I don't like the fact that he and this other fella are taking over my JV team (yes, I'm a bit possessive about this team, but I worked my ass off for the last 3 seasons to make sure that the JV program was a strong feeder team for the Varsity program, so I think I have reason to be possessive). I'm sure we'll be bumping heads quite a bit in the coming weeks, so I'll be sure to update you of exactly when I do kick his ass.
Enough from me. So....how was your weekend?

p.s. to Captain Phil: 1-congrats. 2-Didn't Puck want to KICK Ellen's ass, not kiss it? I doubt she'd feel so threatened if all he wanted to do was kiss her "baby ass," as she once called her backside. I hope she doesn't get into the inner circle this time and Ruthie decides to kick her out.

Sorry everyone that I haven't posted in awhile.. I've been so busy at work... it's ridiculous... I just started training a new person (technically he's my mentee).. in our department.. so I always have to make sure he's busy and doing work.. and what's even more stressful is that he's a perfectionist and overachiever so he doesn't stop asking me questions (some which are really irrelevant).. but nonetheless.. that's taken a lot of time, not to mention that I have new brands that I'm the analyst for... so now I have to build new relationship with two buyers who don't understand how the "analyst" systems work...but anyway at least they think better my old buyers... not to mention that the other guy in our dept is practically getting fired! talk about drama... anyway I know some of this doesn't make sense so I'll stick to talking about reality TV
REAL WORLD/ROAD RULES: Yes as Tiffany already mentioned.. it was pretty interesting to see that last "hold your breath" challenge.. once again the boys rocked the girls..... led by james several of the boys beat the top girl (the powerhouse ruthie) by practically half a minute)....so after the challenge the debate was on who would get kicked off...for the men of course it has always been the lowest score.. so mr.. shoobie doobie wadeee.. "come on be my baby tonight" david b got the boot... to much of Ayanna's dismay b/c they were starting to have a "connection".. I think they were just depressed b/c they didn't get bootie before the other left... anyway... for the girls it was still a toss-up (have they yet not figured out the strategy of just maybe the lowest score gets out)... so this time in the inner circle it was Ruthie, Ellen, and Veronica... so the debate was between Jisela (who WAS the lowest score) and Amaya (b/c she mentioned to Ruthie that she might want to leave b/c her friend is going to die).. in the end again they chose Jisela... who graciously took the boot... as far as the ion life saver (which I do wonder tiff if they will ever use it)... James gave it to cross-gender to his gf Emily... but yeah... the best part though was the end... Ellen and Puck have not gotten along ever since Ellen basically started drama with him two episode back by knocking him down on his views and his behaviors.. anwyay they started arguing and he basically said "get ouf of here or I'm gonna kiss your ass".. so Ellen runs off and goes back to the girls room and is crying her eyes out and is like "Puck said he's going to kiss my ass" and feels that her life is now "threatened" b/c no guy should ever tell a girl that... but the question is Ellen really a girl???? heheehehe tune in next week for Puck and Bettie (his wife) quasi-marriage on the island...
Joe Millionaire..- So yeah ms . mojo is gone.. how sad... I don't know if she really was the gold digger that everyone thought she was ...to me it seems like sarah and melissa m are both gold diggers themselves.. the only one that seems to have her head on straight seems to be Zora... anyway... I think that's why she's not that interesting and they never focus on her b/c she's actually NORMAL... the sin of all reality tv.. god forbid having someone who's average on a show... but then again who wants to watch zora just sitting in her room all by herself doing nothing when you can see melissa and sarah smoking away talking sh*t about mojo.etc..also anyone catch that forest scene between joe and sarah.. talk about some soft-core on network tv... I thought that was so classic "mmmm.. slurp... oh yeah..."
now it's down to sarah, melissa m and zora.. I think it's going to go down to sarah and zora... and then it's a toss up... until next week
Real World - Now for some reason this show is really getting tired and dragged out.. sometimes I honestly think that this show should be shorter but then again it depends on the people.. this epidsode again focus on Irulan and Elton and how Irulan heard that Elton had a 3 way with some girls on the island they had just came back from.. she was mad b/c he wasn't being "honest" with her and doesnt' know how to "treat women".. in his defense he's annoyed b/c she has a bf back home but is sharing a bed with him everyday in vegas... so what kind of morals does she have.. anyway.. they have this like all out playfighting... but it was more than just playing..t hey were literally hitting and throwing stuff at each other... and at one point Irulan breaks a pool stick... so I dont' know how about you... but that's seems like a straight domestic violence.. it was so loud that brynne wakes up and scolds them for being so rude and disrespectful... anyway.... elton tries to go to bed again with Irulan but she doesn't want anything of it... (right before the whole fight scene, she called gabe her bf back home and he was furious and wanted nothing to do with the situation)..Irulan knows she f*cked up by breaking the one rule Gabe asked her not to do: which was mess with a roommate... anyway stay tuned for next week...
American Idol: Now this show just keep getting me more excited for the finals... it began with those who made it to hollywood... they basically had one audition and they cut the field down to about 80... then they had people pair up in threes and prepare a group rendition of a pre-assigned song... so everyone went back to their hotels to practice (or at least most of them).. now three guys, this vanilla ice wanna be, sisko look-a-like and a justin guarini look a like all decide to take a night on the town instead of practicing for the next day.... they even use their american idol "flyers" to get into clubs where they end up doing some crazy stuff with some hoochie ass girls like likcing their stomach and making out with them... anyway back at the hotel there was drama between the 4 girl group b/c one girl was being stood up by the other 3.. anyway the next day the 3 girls go practice while the one girl that was stoood up decides to give them a taste of their own medicine and stands them up... anwyay conflict happens.. and the girl's sister come and straight scolds the 3 for treating her sister like that.. anyway... it finally get resolved late when the girl's hotel roommate steps in...
anyway the next day.. the groups perform in front of the judges... now only the first group in both the males and females coincidentally do well. everyone else..blah... everyone forget their lyrics start singing thier own or just stop alltogether in humiliation.. anyway... the judges are disgusted and have no idea how they are going to cut people when practically everyone was awful.. anyway the judges decide to cut about 30-40 people.... by having the males and females stand in several lines and the judges either approve and cut the "entire" line... anyway.. so they go down to 48 people.. and now each of the last 48 are given a chance to show the judges one last impression before the final cut to top 32 is made... anyway... that happens and then the judges split the 48 people into 3 groups of 16 into 3 rooms... in 2 of the rooms, they move on, in 1 they're ALL gone... sucks to be them.. anyway...you see who gets kicked off and who gets in... what's funny is that the two asians that are in the top 48 (both males, one from honolul and one from the group innerlude from the bay area) are never shown... the honolulu guy makes it to the top 32.. but the innerlude guy gets cut and he starts balling and guess what the camera catches that... I guess he was too boring in the rest of the segment to not be focus on... anyway.. I just thought that was hilarious
bachelorette- now how in the world am I ever going to watch this show with American Idol on at the same time.. anyway I tried taping part of it.. but anyway I got to see parts of it.. apparently this episode is when each of the last 4 guys (russ, greg, ryan, and charlie) bring trista to their parents.. apparently from what I hear Trista to be very concerned with how the place looked... I still don't like her fully but i guess you can't like everybody... Anyway... all I know is that at the end she chooses Ryan, charlie, and Russ as the final 3.... so yeah... did I mention that my mentee told me who wins b/c apparently his doctor is the father of the winner.... how annoying is that.. and I did hear the Trista is pregnant? any confirmation on that... also for any of you who listen to the radio in the morning.. alice 97.3 always talk about reality tv (particually american idol and the bachelorette) from 7:30-8:30 a.m.. they even had Russ on their morning show twice since he's from san rafael..
THE MOLE: Anyway.. now it's down to 4 people.. kathy, michael, frederique and eric.. all 4 of them were involved in a challenge to win an exemption basically they were all blindfolded and taken to a secret location where they had to team up in teams of 2.. (frederique and michael) and kathy and eric to figure out math puzzles.. anyway kathy and eric finishes in 2 min and frederique and michael take 9 min... so kathy and eric go to the next rnd to bid for elimination... this time its multiple choice and who ever finishes first wins.. basically eric wins by 3 sec over kathy and he's given the chance to win exemption.. so the other 3 get put blindfolds on and are taken to a secret location while Eric is given some instructions... basically the object is eric is going to play memory with a bunch of cards and the other 3 are going to be let go somewhere off from wher ethey were and are supposed to try to find him.. the catch is they have no idea which way they have to go back just know that's it by the water "since they heard water" when they were blindfolded and could see out the window that they were near the water... anyway... while michael and freder are trying to rush to find Eric.. kathy takes her sweet ass time and decides to hitch a ride with some crazy hillbillies who she called "retarded" anyway... none of them can make it before Eric finishes in which he gets an exemption... anyway.. Eric and Kathy "supposedly" have an alliance and are trying to get "frederique out" assuming that Michael is the mole... anyway... execution happens.. and mr. michael gets axed... so the question is: Is Eric and Kathy really in an alliance? and if so, did they really think it was Michael? Kathy is really lazy.. and doesn't do much? is she really the best mole ever???? is it frederique.. she seems to play dumb and she doesn't speak much.. could it be a cover up for the mole.. or is mr good looking eric the mole and is just trying to confused everyone... stay tuned next week to find out the winner of the mole (or they might show it the following week)...
Anyway... that' enough reality TV for me.. for those of you who are interseted.. my v-ball league is starting again on Feb 18... and guess who's the captain.... MOI.... YES I have become captain of my v-ball team... heheheheh.. anyway... I'll let you guys know how that goes weekly as well.. Ok off I go.. I'm setting up my new computer... yay no more old stupid can't handle any higher than aol 6.0.comp...
